Went to the range today with my PM9, and was cleaning it after and noticed this:

Bear in mind it might have been there for a while, but there's definitely a shiny edge to the barrel in person, right above the feed-ramp on the front left.

I'm guessing it's normal wear, but want to make sure. You can see where it's worn away a teeny bit of the barrel. Sorry for the crappy pic but it's hard to hold open the slide half-way with one hand and shoot a picture with the other!

I have about 500 rounds through the pistol.

Thanks, all!

I was searching the wrong terms. Apparently it's normal. :D

That is normal on alot ofkahrs. My PM9 did that, My P380 did that, once I filed that little burr off and smoothed it out, it never appeared. The casings are hitting it upon ejection and as that is a pointed end anyway it s more "tendfer" to showing a burr. Ur OK, I am not sure sure even itf it has worn away that part. I would guess more likely it was designed that way and the brass casing are hitting that area and causing a shinny spot.

either way, just shoot it like u stole it..
