Hi guys. New here. Just picked up my new CW45 this morning at local FFL that I ordered from Bud's. Take gun apart and find what looks like file marks across the top sides of feed ramp. Cycled bullets through it with no problems. took 600 grit and carefully sanded the little burrs down. Ramp is smooth, no malfunctions. Has anyone had this? I would hate to think my local FFL did this before I picked up gun cause I didn't order it from him. I didn't bring a flashlight to look inside gun and the orange ty-rap was cut previous to me looking ate it. FFL did tell me over phone he was processing paperwork and come and pick it up. Maybe alittle paranoid on my part. Any help is always appreciated, Thanks.

if it works OK, then forget about it, u IMOP did the right thing u smoothed it out. I doubt if the local FFL did it, without seeing photos, can't tell u much more.

Thanks jocko. Today I did the prep according to the sticky. Also took 0000 steel wool and rubbing compound to the marks and ramp and chamber. Turned out quite well. Cycled rounds ok. I noticed the bullet does not ride on this area of the ramp so all should be good. Now I just need to take it out and shoot it.
it's already easier to work just working slide by hand. I'll let ya'all know how it shoots, Thanks again.
