new p380

Picked up my new p380 last week, flawless so far, absolutely love this handgun. Shoots great and has been eating up everything I feed it. I can load it by slingshot method without trouble also. So far so good, can't wait to shoot it some more.

The only ammo that my P380 doesn't like is Federal 90 gr. Hydra-Shok. I've had numerous failures to feed with it. The gun loves Winchester PDX and Remington Golden Saber. Both are good defensive loads. Just about any ball ammo with cycle flawlessly.

Great to read that your P380 has been flawless. Seemed like for awhile we were reading a lot of bad range reports for the P380.

Yeah thankfully. Other than the slide release lever being a little out of spec on mine, its been perfect. Not a single FTF or FTE. AS said in my other thread I'll get Kahr to ship me a new one, and then hopefully I'll be 100 percent reliable.

The P380 is my first Kahr, and probably won't be my last. :)

My p380 has no problem with Federal 90gr Hydro-Shok. That is what I use for defense ammo.
