I proclaim 2012 the Year of the Barrel.
As I ordered my Sig Sauer P239 357 a triple ported Bar-Sto today.
Isn't that nice?

Sounds cool. Did you order the barrel primarily for the porting?

I'm going to conduct a shoot off between my Sig Sauer P239/357 and my Glock G27/357.
With both in factory trim the Sig blows the Glock away.
But with an extended ported Storm Lake barrel, Ghost Rocket connector
and Big Dots; the Glock has a distinct, and unfair, advantage.
I'm trying to even the playing field.
Although my P220 OEM 4.4" is accurate.
The Bar-Sto 4.4" is better, albeit not as reliable.
But someone, I think maybe you,
told me I could get Bar-Sto to open up the chamber for more reliable HP feeding.
Also, like you have alluded too, the porting on a 357 works much better
than I expected. Plus my 4" barrels just seem more accurate than 3.5".
I woke up this morning and knew what I had to do - LOL.
I'm thinking I get extra style points for a nickel plated trigger
and Bar-Sto stainless barrel on an otherwise black on black Nitron Sig Sauer P239/357.

No cable tv at your house? :yo:
I've lost count of how many times I've cycled through all the channels,
multiple times, only to give up and turn the damn thing off.
TV has turned into a wasteland that at best bores and at worst irritates or
offends me.
I need to fill my free time with something of substance.
