Not much to do about guns, but David did have his CCW and was a Marine.
I was over sitting with my good friend Stacy last night. Her husband David died Friday, from a massive heart attack. When I left, I walked down the stairs, and I guess that old Jack, a dog David has had for years thought his master had finally come home and he got all excited and got up on his crippled haunches and was eagerly awaiting me to get to the kiddie gate that they had set up to keep him in the mud room, tail just a wagging away and he was very wound up until I got over there and he saw it wasn't David, you could just see the light go out of his eyes, his anxiously wagging tail slowed down and stopped completely and he just laid back down with a big doggie sigh. That one one of the saddest things I ever saw. Poor old Jack. I'm sorry it wasn't your master, I wish it had been. I guess they have decided to put old Jack down, since he is so old and crippled up and hurting so much, and they are going to spread his ashes with David's so they'll always be together. Kind of sad, but kind of neat too.
