I am a huge fan of Remora holsters and own 6 of them. The Remora customer service is amazing and the concept is a fine example of US free market success. I would like to use a pocket holster for my new P380, but I am concerned that the Remora material is just too thick. Is the Nemesis or Superfly thinner? Is leather a better option for thickness? I know kydex is thinnest, but is it comfy and does it retain the gun?

I am looking for the thinnest option that will protect my trigger, but not add what the P380 provides.

Thank you!

Get a horsehide leather pocket holster from James Dean. Horsehide is even thinner than the thin cow leather used in pocket holsters. And James's holsters are perfect, with just a touch of retention but a clean draw. And very beautiful, too! You can pics of several of them for P380s here: http://www.facebook.com/jamesdeangunleather. You can email him at jlaudio29@jamesdeangunleather.com. His member ID here on Kahrtalk is jlaudio29.

If you are serious about Kydex, I would suggest the AHolster pocket holster (link provided). Don't actually have one, but thinking this will be my next pocket holster for my LCP. Currently have a leather pocket holster, very thin leather, but has tended to lose it's retention power over the last year of use. I also have the Blackhawk #2 pocket holster...cheap but effective. :)
