approximately how old is this PM9

Someone is selling a PM9 with serial # VC5626 i was just wondering if anyone could tell by the serial number approx if its from a very old batch that had problems or a newer one? thanks

Thanks alot any idea if there were any issues that year? its nice to save $100 but not if it will cost more in aggravation
