.....Sucks.

Placed an order a couple months ago, they sent the wrong items. No big deal. People make mistakes. They corrected it. Ordered a part 16 days ago and after a week, I checked the tracking and all that it said was that USPS was notified for its pick up. I contacted Kahr that the item probably was lost or something happened because I usually receive my shipments within a week from Kahr and the tracking info has not changed in this time. I was told it was shipped and to wait another week. Five days later I get an e-mail saying they are crediting my account. Nothing explained in that e-mail. I called to ask why because I would really like the part and was told it is on back order. I asked when will they estimate getting the part in stock. I was told they do not know.

Now I can put up with a lot but that latest transaction could have been handled better. Why not tell me it was back ordered when I first inquired about the order? Why not tell my about the back order when they notified me of my credit? This in conjunction with the gruff attitude I recieved over the phone and the mistake made with the previous order, I have to conclude that Kahr's once stellar customer service is no longer available. BTW the part is for a magazine which I know Kahr does not manufacture.

x2. I've ordered some Pearse Grip Extensions that I have not received from over 2 weeks ago. I emailed and left messages and have not heard from them. I LOVE their guns but despise their CS.

Just got off the phone with a lady from their CS and if she worked in our call center I'd have her ass fired!!! Over spoke me and talked condescending. Damn I wish I didn't like the guns so much!!!!

I have had only one dealing with Kahr customer service. It was phenomenal. Of course, I contacted them via email about some faulty magazine base plates, and had an email back the very next day. A few days later I have 2 completely brand new mags in my mailbox.

Probably same CS agent. It is a hard job she has for sure. Too bad.... I was a big fan of Kahr and mostly because of their CS. Now I am a fan only because of this forum. SO I guess my ethusiasm is slowly ebbing away. I hope Kahr reads this forum so that steps can be made to change their direction.

You can go to Pearse directly.

Oh I had great service too in the past. Seems now like 180 degrees from that though. I will give them another chance based on the good past history I have had with them. If still bad, I will carry something else.

I just had to deal with them for some issues with a P380. I would rate the CS as very good, but most of my real customer service came through this site. They are sending me a new mag and lock back pin at no charge. They asked for the bad mag back. I hope it is for the quality control department. Companies like S&W and Remora (and others) have such great service, that it makes some companies look like crap.

Guess I've been lucky
Ordered SS guide rod, 2 sets of wood grips, 4x RSA, 4x slide stop springs,
and more stuff I dont even remember,
over the course of about a year.
Always got the right stuff quickly with no trouble at all.

I've also Emailed twice for technical questions and got a quality responses within 24 hrs.

I'm continuing to receive packages from various sources nearly overnight.
Two more today.
Maybe Jocko has something to do with it???

Thank you for that!!! I just did and cancelled my order from Kahr or hope that the inept CS rep did. Damn, the Pearse CS rep was damn good. I would have bought more from her.

sometimes it pays to count to 10 before getting all pissed of with some of the CS people. Kahr people are mostly very good about their CS as most membrs here will attest to. Hell who knows maybe this gal caught her husband in bed with another man and it just isn't a good day for her. Just sayin

Going direct with Pearse seems the way to go.

Don't you just hate when you get the wrong order and it's really late?

These customer service reps have it out for all of us.
It's a conspiracy I tell ya.

Not sure where you are going with this post Barth. Glad you had great CS. I have too in the past. But from being recently lied to in curt, cryptic e-mails and phone call from Kahr, I am not very receptive if your post was a smart ass reply to my situation.

I'm going with personal experience.
I ordered from them online yesterday.
And got email conformation with tracking numbers today.
I'm certain I'll get exactly what I ordered in a timely fashion.
As I have many times in the past.

Sorry you're having problems.

I usually find them to be very helpful.... but today i wanted to order Williams fire sights for my K9 and I had to verify my gun by a dimple as to whether they'ld work.. Short story I called williams I was allowed to go Red Rear Green front (Kahr wouldn't allow that) Dimple- they guy asked me if i was crazy. Dimples on the slide? He said dimples are for your face! I'll have them within a week. Sorry Kahr.....

The customer isn't always right, but the customer is always the customer. I spent 30 years in a customer service business and one thing that I know for a fact is that if you don't please the customer you'll soon have no business. Customer service businesses that stay in business go the extra mile to please their customers.

+1 on that Muggsy

I am sympathetic to your personal issues as long as it doesn't interfere with my transaction. After that I go somewhere else.

It might be your 15th A-Hole of the day but it's my first and only A-hole of the day. If you're an A-hole to me, my dollars go someplace else.

Never had a problem with Kahr CS or with orders I have placed. Sorry to hear that you've had problems with them.

It's not bad customer service......I grew up out east.....that is normal customer service out east!

I remember going into a "YeOld Beef n Ale" back in Mass. and when I got up to the order counter.....the order person snapped at us "ya...what do you want" and continued b'sng with his buddy. The last parts order I made with Kahr was also a horrible experience.....as I remember people here told me I should of just ordered on line and it was my fault for calling in my order. We are SUPPOSED to accept bad service, it may be part of CHANGE. I like my Kahr's but not their customer service.

Actually, Kahr maybe correct on this one. The dimple on the slide determines if it is the old or new syle dovetail slot for your sights. One style is a press and play while the other needs some modifications to the sights to make the sights fit. I had the Williams firesights installed by Kahr and they are very nice to have. Also Kahr did a great job.
