Thought several forum members would be interested in availability and prices here (show was in Ft. Myers). I walked around for a few hours and only saw a couple of transactions. Mostly couples looking for a gun for wife or girlfriend. This area of FL has been devastated economically by bad real estate market. Closest cities are Sarasota and Naples, both about an hour away and in better shape. I saw only one PM9 - a Black Rose for around $875. Very surprising to not see any others as the last show I went to in Bradenton had a lot of Kahrs. One PM45 black slide with factory sights for $745. Two P380s for $575. And a well-used MK9 for around $450. A few P9s for $625, and a group of PM40s for $650-$750 (reg sights-night sights). To all purchases you can add a FL ID check for $5-10, and 6% sales tax. I probably missed some on my walkabout but you get the picture. Not bad prices when you consider no shipping and no FFL fees. Ammo was more expensive than online purchasing. Not much 380acp but lots of 9mm and 45acp.

Thanks for the report. You saw more "diversity" in Kahrs than I did at the last two shows. I've been looking for a black PM45 with night sights and that price wasn't bad. I saw mostly CWs and no .45s. Next week I can start looking in earnest.

That black PM45 was a beaut!!!! I usually don't get too excited about these things but.....
I have a stainless PM45 with tru-dot night sights. Am looking for a black PM9 now. Will probably put some xs sights on that one and maybe a CT.

I love my PM9. I still can't believe that I found one like that. I want its big brother, too. The next show isn't until the 27/28th March. I don't want to wait that long, especially since there's no guarantee of finding one there.
If I could find one like you saw, I would sure jump on it.

Excellent great report!
I would said guns shows are not what they used to be and has been replace by the Internet in one way. Bargains, avoiding sales taxes and other nonsenses.
