Got my new P380 from grabagun.com yesterday and ran ~225 rounds through it. My hands are still a little sore from that little thing :)
I LOVE IT! Sold an LCP to help fund it.
Had one FTE as I limp wristed it trying to get a more accurate shot, other than that flawless. Except.......after ~150 rounds the slide stopped locking back on the last round except for once or twice it did lock on the last 4-5 mags I put through it. Cleaned it yesterday, hoping it was just gunked up and about 50% of the time it still fails to lock back. Not firing it just putting an empty mag in and drawing the slide back. Sometimes when it does lock back the slide release lever is all the way up, other times only part way up.
I did some reading about the extra power mag springs, but would rather not go that route if I didn't have to...any other simple issues it could be? (already have an email in to kahr tech support).
Thanks in advance.
And yes I'm familiar with the prep/lube chart (already own a CM9). Admittedly all I did for prep was wipe the oil off and shoot the thing.

Congrats on your new P380...I'm really dying to get one of these little babies...Even though you hear so much negative, I love my Kahr's enough to risk it...

I checked those threads already, really helpful. After I posted and re-read my original post I remembered I left out the mag. Disassembled and cleaned/lightly oiled the mag, and it seems to be functioning perfectly now. Slide release goes all the way up every time (tried it ~30 times). I'll find out if that was the issue next time at the range!
So I guess I should change the topic to...Another perfect P380 :)

Almost forgot pictures! After getting this I really wish I would have bought the PM9 initially, the 380 being rounded on all the edges is much prettier.

Nice pics. Glad to hear the newer P380's are performing better straight out of the box. Hope this is a trend as I may want to get one of these some day.

blazer brass was all the range had, didn't have time to go to Walmart to save some money. Also ran 20 Winchester pdx1's through it which also performed flawlessly.

Sounds like you got a good one. That's great! Mostly pocket carry my PM9 but there are those times when only a pocket .380 will do.

I have found that blazer works best for my P380. I get mine through ammunitiontogo.com or luckygunner.com
