Hello Kahr Owners!

I just got purchased a new Kahr CM9. I finally got to shoot it at the range today. I shot about 100 rounds of cci 115gr round nose through it and it performed amazing! I had zero issues. It performed flawlessly. In fact, I was so surprised how good it actually did. I also have a CW9 that probably has about 200-300 rounds through it. Believe it or not, I shot the CM9 better?! Go figure...And that is saying a lot, because that gun has been perfect!...I had been creeping on this site for a little while, and I read up on all of the prep threads. I manually worked the slide about 200 times prior to shooting it. I never stripped and cleaned it, as it didn't really look to bad to me....What an amazing concealed carry gun! I'm so happy with this purchase!...I did install a Hogue Handall Jr. grip, which I had to trim just a little, but wow what an improvement! I like this little gun so good I'm thinking about selling my CW9 (since I have an LCP, XDM, and CM9), so that I can get a CW45.

BTW- First post! Thanks to everyone who takes the time to share your knowledge. I have learned a lot from all of your expertise already. Go Kahr! :D

Congrat fellow CM9 owner!...they are pretty sweet aren't they?!

P.S. the CW45 is a sweet shooter too, if you decide to get one I'm sure you will love it too...

Thanks guys! Good to know about the CM45 coming soon. I didn't know about that. I wonder how the felt recoil would be from a gun that small in .45 ACP? Anyone know when they might be available?

Maybe someone who owns a PM45 could address the recoil issue. The CM version should feel the same.

I own a PM45 and a Glock 36. The Kahr is a sweet shooter, and the recoil is not bad at all. I smile every time I take it to the range for some "lead therapy".

Welcome to the forum! :) And welcome to the CM9 Owners Club! :D Because these guns are so good, we can't wipe the ear to ear grins off our faces, so our official symbol is...

I've owned one1911 in .45ACP...the recoil wasn't bad at all, but it just seems like the pm45 would really be hard to hold onto. How would you describe the recoil compared to the 9mm? I did catch myself having to readjust my grip every so often on my cm9.
