I have about 400 rounds through my cw9. the slide rattles where it rides the front rails near the muzzle. there is some up and down and side to side movement.

I am not very worried about this but should i be?

You did not mention if the gun functions properly but if it does a slight amount of play is not a problem.

ITS NORMAL, does it do it with a loaded magazinein the gun or when no magis in the gun.

I would be very surprised if it rattles with a loaded mag in the gun: Just sayin

Lotta very dangerous things make some noise right before they strike.
It's normal.

ITS NORMAL, does it do it with a loaded magazinein the gun or when no magis in the gun.

Also, having a round in the chamber takes up alot of the clearances and usually eliminates any rattling. (Of course, rounds rattling in the magazine is an entirely different situation).

Try this test: load a dummy round in the chamber and then insert a fully loaded magazine. If the gun rattles under these conditions, then you MIGHT have a problem.

Judging a semiautomatic pistol for tightness by seeing if it rattles with the chamber empty and no magazine is like test driving a car with the hood and doors open. It's just not the conditions it was designed to operate under.
