After having the slide stop pop out several times during the break in I saw the spring was bent. Kahr sent me a new spring, installed it, have the screw set to what feels like the advice here says to do. I can rack the slide with no mag in it, letting it slam into battery on it's own and after 15 racks I notice the stop looks to be out just enough to where I can push on it and it gives a faint click and moves just enough to make doubt if it will stay in place. I plan on shooting it tomorrow evening , but hate to waste bullets if this isn't right. It has 160 rounds through it so far. This can't be a carry gun if I can't trust it. Any help is always appreciated. Thanks.

Tighten the screw a little more. Oh, and repeatedly slamming the action closed with no round in place is not a good practice. If you have them, load some snap caps into a magazine and let it feed normally. Your gun will thank you.

I had this same exact issue. Once I replaced the spring it has been trouble free ever since and has been my EDC gun. Work with it until you get it right. I know it's BS that they are still having this issue and I would not put up with a company with such poor QC if it wasn't for the fact that the gun runs perfect now and I keep going back to it as my carry gun. You just can't find a lighter/thinner .45 auto on the market. Once get over this headache you will be happy trust me. I just wish they would pay a little more attention to details out the door.

Good to hear that sharkbait22. This is the first semi-auto I've had that truly fits my smaller hand. And I love to shoot it, Thanks.

It is a very rare that this spring thing happens, We have had over 157,000 posts on this forum and I would bet one cannot find 6 of these incidents posted. Sure when it happens to you it is never a pleasant thing but sharkbait22 got his fixed and he loves the gun even though he still feels dissapointed about the QC on his particular gun. Sh!t happens. Some get over it, some don'tJust sayin

Took the above mentioned CW45 to the range this evening and put another 160 rounds through it. Not one problem. the trigger felt smoother this time round. Not one thing folded, stapled, spindled or mutilated.HA. It's now my new EDC. For once my OCD is happier than me. Thanks everyone for the help. Ya'all have a great holiday.
