Carry a Cm9 in my pocket. Want to carry a spare magazine in the other pocket. What do others use to keep mag. from unloading.

There are some pocket mag pouches out there, I believe desantis makes one out of the same material they make the nemesis out of...

Just googled pocket mag pouch and a ton of options came up...

I make molded leather pocket mag holders for them, they are molded to a loaded Kahr 9mm mag so the top round can not move. You draw by catching the hook on the edge of your pocket.

PM if interested.

I use a DeSantis Magpacker for my P380s spare mag (gun rides in a Nemesis). Rides well in the back pocket of my summer wear shorts. If I decide later to go to a tuckable IWB holster for my CW40 (for year round carry with it) then I will probally seek out a pocket mag holder like the one Beardog shows so it could ride in the left front pocket with my (too thick to sit on) wallet.
Sitting on anything thicker than the current 380 combo would hurt after a while...
But then, I'm and oldster.:D

Hey looks similar to mine. Mine is mostly cards and such. The badge in the wallet doesn't really help matters either :D

Yea man I second the BEARDOG mag holder, they fit like a glove. I am getting ready to order another for my 1911's from him. He does very nice work.

I have bought a BUNCH of Kydex magazine holders from Tactical Kydex. I cut the belt clips off one of each caliber for pocket carry. They are cheap and adjustable for retention. You don't want them too tight, though, because you might need to remove the mag from the holder one-handed on the run.

http://glocktalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1122507

Mitchell does all Kahr mags... I sent him P380 and PM45 mags to make molds from. I've made several posts about his work with pictures and how I modified some for pocket carry.

http://kahrtalk.com/showthread.php?t=996&highlight=Tactical+Kydex

I'm a big fan and have made many posts with pictures on this subject.

I forget now who but one of the members here on KahrTalk made a Kydex pocket mag holder which he gave me in exchange for an evaluation. Unless it were some kind of sticky or clipped on type holder a pocket mag holder will not make for a fast tactical reload.

Have a pocket mag carrier from DM Bullard (http://store.dmbullardleather.com/catalog/product/83e7d6045d4e4a10acfa327f36e6bbac) for both my PM9 and My Ruger LCP , excellent workmanship. I would highly recommend one of these

This is what I'm going to get. I really like how the leather mag pocket holsters look but I'd be worried about it shifting around in my pocket. If I'm in a life/death situation I want to know EXACTLY where the mag is so I can index it properly with no fishing around. YMMV

I just bought a cheap universal pouch for multi tools and such. I use that and clip it to my belt and my EDC flashlight from 5.11 clips onto it. Works great. And to prevent noise diving, I trimmed a piece of styrofoam and placed it in the bottom of the pouch.

The web site: http://www.desantisholster.com/store/SEARCH-BY-HOLSTER-OR-ACCESSORY/MAGAZINE-POUCHES/Mag-Packer with all the various types of magazines covered. Click on your needs...

At the Midway site (where I got mine) but there are other places to get them from:
http://www.midwayusa.com/product/156337/desantis-mag-packer-pocket-magazine-pouch-9mm-to-40-s-and-w-single-stack-magazines-nylon-black

Cheaper at Midway than direct from Desantis, which is weird...

Good luck. Figuring out whats right for you is the toughest part of carrying. What I started with back then is not what I carry with today(guns & leather). We all tend to evolve to our final (equipment) EDC forum.

I have but one question. With a PM9 in one pocket and a spare mag in the other where in the hell do you put your car keys and change? I like to keep my pockets empty in case I have to adjust my, ah, er, other equipment. :)

For me, when I pocket carry, the wallet and car keys in the left front, P380 in a Desantis Nemesis in the right front and a spare 380 mag in the Mag-packer in the left rear. The Mag-packer conforms to the "sitting contour" of the butt-cheek better than my (George special) wallet would.
Trust everyone here when they say, you still need a good (gun) belt to hold the extra weight as you move through your daily life.
Anything bigger than my P380 rides on the gun belt at the waist.

^That's where I got the pic. Don't have one of these, but I have a Galco PMC in leather (http://www.outdoorpros.com/Prod/Galco-PMC26-Pocket-Magazine-Carrier-for-45-Pistol-Natural/85256/Cat/118?utm_medium=referral&utm_source=googlebase&cvsfa=1184&cvsfe=2&cvsfhu=3835323536). I like it. Stays properly positioned in my pocket. Very thin. For carrying my CM9 six round mags, I stuffed a tissue in it to make the mag sit up a bit for easier access.

I was only kidding, Planedude. You'll learn over time not to take anything that I say too, seriously. I pocket carry a P380, too. My CM9 is carried AIWB. Unless you hear the words stop or I'll shoot, ignore me. :)

I'm with the others, BEARDOG set me up with a pocket magazine holster (x2) about a year ago now and I continue to be extremely pleased with it. I carry it every day with my PM9. I can't do much more endorsing than that!

Thank's everyone!

I really appreciate hearing all the positive feedback. It means a lot to me to know that you all seem to really like the mag holders I make, and that they are being used and getting carried.

You ALL have been very nice to deal with as well.
