That's awesome. I'm certainly not new to kahr but new to this forum.
Gonna guess August 20th which also happens to be my birthday...

Dang! Jocko, I just noticed your post count "slipped" back again! Is there an automatic rollover point on yours now??

If that were true Jocko would have a negative number of posts. Just sayin. :)

Don't worry about jocko's post count. The moderators subtract 1 for every time he types "just sayin". Just sayin. :D
Most of us know it is really much higher than the number shown ;) and that's fine for me... Kinda like how you stop counting rounds through a gun after so many.
My guess is Sunday, Aug 19th.

If this was my forum and it is not, so here is how I would do it. Every person startsout as a newbie and his post count goes to 100 and then his count stops and he is a senior member and that is all one ever sees in his signature line.Round counlt to me means nadda, doesn't makeme any betteror worse than a newbie coming here. I sometme think maybe a newbie when he see a post count of 5000 and above then gets alttle scared as to " should I contest what that person just posted"? as he certainly has alot of drag on this forum, even though I thyink he is wrong etc. Again not my forum so it is what it is. My post coount will never get high, for I will not allow it and the moderators are kind enough to work with me when I request my cont be lowered etc. It is not their doings , it is mine in asking them. they could also say NO and that would be it, but again to me thatis alslo why this forum is different than every other one, ,,,,the mods do seem to want to work with a member, whether his desiresmakes any sense or not. I would much rather just see SENIOR MEMBER on my posts and no Posts# at all.. Just sayin!!

How does one tell when he has a lot of drag? Is it a tangible thing or just a feeling?
Speaking of feeling, went to open garage door to get lawnmower out, went over backwards in the chair as the door rolled back down, first time in 17 years. Conked head, knocked wind out of me, feel like I went 10 rounds with Ali and he won by knockout.
Not a good feeling but I played hurt and got the grass cut.

this is a good thing or not. I'm having a hard enough time keeping up with the number of people we have now. Don't know how I'll be able to keep up with 10,000. (just sayin!)
Bawanna....good to read that you "manned up" and got the grass cut. Hope you did not damage your magical hands.

Jocko, I may have to start doing like you because my post count is definitely not proof of a great amount of gun knowledge. :001_huh: If I do request a demotion, though, I would want to stay over 1000 to keep the larger account limits for PMs and stuff. I hate that 50 PM limit. Just saying.

To get it all back on track about the 10,000 member count, I've noticed since around the first of the year that if I don't log in a read for a day or 2 there are so many new post that I could never read them all. And the forum is still as good as before.
