A few week ago, I put 200 rounds through my new CM9 with only 1 FTF. Happened 2nd round on first mag through it. Was perfect after that.

I took it to the range today to make sure it would feed Gold dots reliably. I reloaded some 124 gr gold dots with HS-6 to make sure it would feed them before buying 124 +P gold dots for carry. I also wanted to test a new 6 round mag I just bought. I fired a couple of mags through it with 2 known good mags and it funtioned flawlessly. With the new mag, I had a FTE on the 5 round. The new mag worked fine after that. No other problems with the 100 rounds through it other than the FTE.

I know most of the time, mag problems present as FTF's, but could the mag cause a FTE as well?

i wouldn't loose to much sleep over one round. sometimes shooter error enters into it to the gun and magazines areyet maybe stillgetting broken in with desiged spring sets now starting to settle down. If uhave a gun issue, normally it duplicates itself timer and time again. I would not think a mag would effect a FTE but sh!t happens.

U might want to take ur mags apart and check to see if al lis back together corectly and then while it is all apart, I would roll up some 600+ sand paper and polish under the feed lips of the magazine. one never knows if there is a lsight burr there or not, ur not removing anything urjust merely polishing up the feedlips. I would also do the follower check also, before putting themag completely back together. Just go to the kahr tech section and hit on propper prepping of ur kahr and scrollon down until u see the magazine part of the thread. Properly getting ur magazines perfect IMO goes a long way towards reliability. It is not rocket science either. Most never need anything either but it takes maybbe 5 minutes tocheck it all out..

It is very rewarding when one shoots his cm9 or what ever and every range trip it just ghets better for smoothness, racking, reliability, and accuracy. that should also tell you that now the gun and shooter has mated up very well. It takes two to tango.:" Just sayin
