And how would you have looked and sounded at 15 . More than likely sounded and looked like a young turd, but atleast in to firearms.

Agreed. At 15 I WAS a young turd. Now I'm an old turd.

I hope that if this kid ever visits the Kahr Talk Forum and reads the comments on his video that he doesn't think that all of us are elbows.

I agree with RxDoc, gun safety is the concern. And I realize he is only 15, however this is the age when safety needs to drilled into their heads. My own 15 year old knows this and has a respect for firearms. In his earlier years, muzzle control and checking/clearing the chamber was always first. He learned this because I was relentless with gun safety when we would shoot.

On a lighter note though, the Ka-Har thing did get me laughing pretty good.

Ka-har I thought that he did a good job for his age. I also would like to see him shoot. Then we would see the gun control. People on u-tube always what see a safety check and and gun control but it's a camera if there is no cameraman that what is the harm. Anyone who makes fun of him. Where is your video. Now or at 15

Tinman507 Today i'm more of an old fart than a turd . But I may have to ask my wife on that one.

3one5, I don't think making fun of this child is the issue. What the issue is poor gun handling. I would like to see him safety check in the beginning of the video, also inserting a live magazine, was not the smartest thing to do. Prior to this, he's racking the slide and pulling the trigger.

I don't care how old he is, it's my opinion he needs more training on how to handle a firearm. I also got a little nervous when he pulled the gun close to his face when talking about protection. When he made the comment of the trigger comparable to a toy gun, and the way he was waving it around, he was treating it like a toy. I don't mean to start any flaming of members here, again this is just my opinion.

It's your follow through. Keep your head down and don't lift it to see the target.

And all these years I pronounced it like "car". I now stand corrected it is pronounced "Ka-harr". I just hope the anti's don't get a hold of this and use it as what all gun owners are like.

Jmek hit it exactly correct! Where the heck were this "boy's" parents (or guardians) during this facade. Cavalier handling of a firearm like he was doing is ludicrous, especially on YouTube, giving other "experts/evaluations" of dangerous weapons, especially younger ones, an example to follow, and not a good one at that. "Scary" is too polite a word to use.

My NRA Training Couselor would have had a coranary watching this kid. I lost count of how many times this kid violated safe gun handling. Where in the hell are his parents? Fifteen and playin with firearms, especially a pistol like they are toys... really...??? Your supposed to be at least eighteen with adult supervision with a handgun or twenty-one without supervision.
It's no wonder why kids shoot themselves and or others....just more cannon fodder for the anti's.
Sorry there is no reason in the world to condon or excuse for this fifteen or otherwise. Flame on baby.
