After Memorial Day Rememberances, Lawn and Garden work and other Honey-Do items, finally made it to the range with my first born.
It was about 92 here in SE PA today with humidity enough to take slices.
Didn't matter. We were alone on the outdoor range at the club.
Shot 150 rounds of Winchester Ranger 124 Nato through the K9 and the CM9.
The CM9 has been somewhat neglected recently as the K9 is my EDC. But I fell in love all over again today. That little gun will definitely outshoot me every day of the week. The K9 helped me learn the Kahr trigger. I shot that little polymer wonder like a champ. As long as I did my part it shot wherever I wanted to go.
My son is a Glock-ophite and there's no turning him away from his version of perfection. He cannot shoot Kahrs. He's damned good with his G26 so why mess with success.
We then went Economy and got the SR22 out and ripped through about 300 rounds of CCI Mini-Mags and the leftovers of a box of Winchester 555 Valu-pak.
Same target, rapid fire at lower left or lower right. 7 yds them moved out to 15 yds. 2 mags each. What a lot of fun. Totally needed this and so did he.
Came home, mixed some adult beverages and cleaned guns on the deck while dinner cooked on the grill.
The freedoms we enjoyed today especially were because so many brave souls fought and died to guarantee them. Hope all of you enjoyed your days as well.
