I noticed on my PM9 that on the left side of the frame, directly under the pin that the trigger pivots on, there appears to be the tip of a spring protruding from the polymer that would point down towards the ground if pointed in a shooting position.

That normal?

I just saw it today and either I never noticed it, or its a new development...

Thanks in advance!

Drew

I dont have pics either.....

yes it is normal, actually what it is is a pin that locks the trigger pin from drifting. If it proturdes out any at all, just take a small punch and tap it back up but it should probalby not be moving. It is in all polymer kahrs

That thing drove me nuts too! It kept creeping out to the point that it would stab my finger. I just pushed it back in with a pen cap. Oh well.

Define normal?

Is it a point of concern, something wrong with my blaster?

Is this something that happens with Kahr pistols and is considered common?

Thank goodness I thought you guys were talking about me personally.

Yes, I'd say its normal. It's one of those things that you can go along time without noticing and when you do notice it, makes you wonder.

It is not too common for it to work itself out but we have heard of that a couple times. Not a big deal to push it back in. Seems like someone said once they put a little super glue on it and no more issue.

I don't know if yours is coming out or you just see where it is.

no doubt if u have a in that seems to want to work itself out a tad, just put some super glue on the pin and push it back in. That is what kahr would do.

Mine did that on my jPM9 years back but a tad of super glue and a good whack with a punch and hammer and it has never moved again. :behindsofa:

Sounds easy enough. So there must be a hole there to begin with and the pin is just moving a bit is all?

Is that pin connected to something or would it "walk" itself all the way out at some point?

no not connected to anything, I guess it could work itselfr all the way out. never heard of it happening as normally one will push it b ack up. the pin is inserted first in the frame and then the trigger pin actully passes by that pin under pressure and that is what keeps both normally in place. U have no issue there, so don't worry about it.

I think I just noticed it and was like WTF is this thing doing here?

It is basically flush, can only see the tip top of the wire or what ever the hell I am seeing there. For good measure I put a touch of God's nectar (super glue) on it just in case...

Thanks again fellas!
