Hey everyone. I just picked up my first Kahr Saturday (CW9). It's replacing my PF9 as my carry piece. The PF9 was a breeze to carry, but it has been the only gun that I've ever owned that consistently became more difficult to shoot accurately the more I shot it. I'm pretty sure the recoil had just conditioned me into any number of poor trigger habits and it had progressed to the point I had a hard time keeping my shots on a piece of 8.5x11 paper at 10 yards

Anyway, I've had my eye on a CM9 or S&W Shield to replace it for a couple of weeks. My shop had neither... but they did have the CW9, so I decided to take a chance on a slightly larger gun for carry and took it home. I put about a 100 rounds through it Sunday, and let me say that I'm am in love with this pistol more than any other that I've every shot. The trigger is everything I wished for and way more than in the KT, and the recoil feels as soft as any full size polymer 9 I've ever shot. After 30 or so rounds I was able to put all of my rounds onto a square two inch piece of tape at 7 yards.

Finally, I have a carry gun that doesn't feel like its fighting me to put my rounds where I want them. I get the funny feeling that it won't be the last Kahr to enter my collection in the near future. ;)

nice report, ur evidently a good shot anyway for 2" square at 7 yards IMO is excellent shooting. I wish I could do that. when I talk about groups at 7 yards I am talking about maybe 6" stuff. Nice thing about ur cw to is that 500 runds from now u will think u got a whole different gun. everything just seems to smooth itself out so nicely, so mor ethan likey ur groups will even get better, which then will really make me more jeaoous. Just sayin.

indeed welcome to the best forum in the cuntry.

I got a CW9 (and also joined Kahr Talk) not too long ago and I feel the same as you, but there are so many other choices (trying to save money for what's next). :D

Welcome to the forum... there is a wealth of knowledge here and a great group of people with an attitude to match! I'm sure you'll enjoy it here almost as much as shooting your Kahr. ;)

The abbreviated two finger grip gives some folks fits.
For the pocket it's nice and I shoot my MK40 well.
But it took some range time to get there.

Everyone needs to find there own way when it comes to that perfect carry gun.
And the experiences on that path are as important as the destination - IMHO.

Welcome to the World of Kahr, and KahrTalk.
This is a good place to learn and share all things handguns.
Have some fun and make some friends along the way!

You got a great gun! Welcome to the forum! :)

To carry that jewel, I recommend the PJ IWB Holster (http://pjholster.com/?page_id=37). I and countless others here will tell you that this holster carrying one of these thin Kahrs just behind the hip is so comfortable and secure that you can't feel it there at all! You literally have to reach your hand over there and touch it to know it is still there. The holster is very thin and shaped just right. Hides easily under any shirt. Believe me: your holster search will be over. Get it with the FBI cant and the over the belt clip. Put it in the sweet spot behind your hip and you're good to go 24/7!

BTW, a surprisingly sweet shooter and the best buy on the market in a 45 is the CW45. Not much bigger than your CW9, but makes bigger holes. Put one on your wish list.

Awesome news! Congrats on your purchase and welcome to the family!

That funny feeling is 100% truth. Kahr pistols are great pieces and, like those potato chips, you can't have just one... :D
