View Full Version : Gift from a friend, grips for my 1911

I stopped by a local shop to do some shooting and browse the hardware. They have a 1/2 price rack about this time each year and I found some goodies on it. As I was paying for them, a friend that works there asked that I not go anywhere. A few minutes later he comes back with a set of grips, says he had them for his Kimber Royal II, but he had traded the Kimber for a Springfield Armory Trophy Match and now had no use for them. I absolutely love the look of the grips and ask what he would want for them. He says nothing, that they're a gift if I want them. Semper Fi, my friend!
