I recently bought a CW9 after reading quite a few rave reviews from here. I've put around 120 flawless rounds through it so far and no issues at all so far. Quite impressed actually... Can't wait to get out again with some targets instead of bottles and cans in my gravel pits. Even with small targets though I was blasting targets at 20+ yrds within one clip. Anyway I'll stop before you're bored to tears if your not already.

Trust me we wouldn't be here if this stuff bored us...just sayin...

Anyway, welcome aboard and congrats!

Welcome to KahrTalk.

Don't know about the bottles but I betcha a bunch of folks here would like to be able to pop cans then just punch holes in paper.

Yep.
When I grew up in rural Tennessee you could go out plinking just about anywhere in the woods and fields. Now I'm pretty much confined to paper and an indoor range. I sure miss walking down a trail in the woods shooting stumps, rocks, pine cones and the occasional moving target.

I grew up in Knoxville. When I was eleven I bought a Remington 22 rifle and my best friend had a Winchester. We used to shoot them in our back yards. Of course in the fifties, I could carry the rifle on a city bus or take it to school if I wanted.

I live way up north in the sticks or God's country depending on how you look at it, so I have plenty of empty space to go shooting. Lots of fields, woods and gravel pits to choose from. No indoor ranges though for the cold months.

That's a great place to live but I think I'd freeze to death in the winter. But it could be worth it just for the peace and quiet. Welcome to the forum. Good to hear about your CW9. they are winners.

Winter isn't too bad. I work outside 6 days a week walking 8 or 10 miles a day and find it is nice. It's the humid summers that get to me. It's definitely the peace and quite keeping me here, I hate crowds and there never is one here except once when the phish concert came. Biggest place within 200 miles has maybe 50,000 people. Up here close to me which is where I work has 10,000 people, and my home town has 1,800 maybe on a good day.

Welcome! Cans and bottles are funner! :D

Congrats on the recent purchase, I'm glad you like it so far, and I'm sure you'll like it here. I am still a newbie to the forum but I can tell you the collective knowledge here is second to none! And good people too!

Once you punch some holes in paper, it will confirm what you already know after shooting your cans... It is a nice accurate gun.

This forum is the whole reason I went with gun. It was between an m&p9 shield, lc9 and the cw9. After poking around here for a while I made my mind up. And yes I do need to put a few holes in paper so I can dial in my shooting with it.
