I`ve decided that to adequately defend myself, not only do I need to be proficient with my handgun,I also need to get in better shape physically.I have enrolled in a new school here called the Flaming Panda. It is really a neat place. All the guys are very friendly and eager to help newcomers. The head instructor`s name is Steve and he received his training in the San Francisco area. This place is a lot different than what you see on TV and in movies. All of the workouts are done with showtunes playing in the background and most of the students are dressed in tight shorts and tee shirts.Another odd thing is that the highest belt that you can achieve here is the mauve belt.Steve said that he is hoping to open a chain of these schools so maybe there will be one in your area soon.Actually he called it a daisy chain.Probably one of those martial arts terms.

I was kind of expecting pictures. I also suspect a hidden agenda, its the line about all the students wearing tight shorts and tee shirts. You seem to have left out the "wet" before tee shirts and mention that you were the only dirty ole man, (and proud of it) in the class.
Seriously being physically fit is a benefit in shooting. I still remember what it was like even if I'm not the lean mean fightin machine I uses to be.

Good luck with the ninja school.:typing:

Dang! You had me there for a second. I hadn't really noticed your name, Dietrich. I was spring loaded for a smart remark with the name of the school, and then you said San Francisco... Ha! Ha! Watch out for the oopsies in the showers!

Wyn, Did you mean the Rainbow room?....Maybe Dietrich can get you and bawanna in on the threesome discount good buddy plan?.....Just make sure Dietrich has a good leash on ol Nemo and don't let him clean his hand gun in the shower cause it might go off in there....Don't let that big ol head instructor get carried away with you new boys until you are fully trained, ok....Oh and one more thing....DO NOT look through those holes in the bathroom stall walls without your shooting glasses on.........I really didnt edit my post....I was thinking about adding something about the Flaming Panda's famous pack room....sorry I mean back room training available for new members but I better not....I really gotta quit now!!! Sorry John I'll behave from now on......Zena oh Zena. Dietrich needs a spanking!!!

Sorry, I've been busy cleaning our grill. It has been a "Honey-Do" for a long time now and wifey is off for FOUR DAYS now! She won't be shopping all of the time -- recreational.:D
Anyhow, I let one of the usual culprits lead me astray... again... it's not like I don't instigate quite a few "controversies" myself... Okay, I'm a usual (ob-normal) culprit, too.
The trouble with humor is that someone has to be the butt... er... object, and it's hard not to offend someone somewhere. I'm pretty non- or un-PC, but I do try to respect the feelings of others... well, most others. I figure that some of you guys are retards (retireds) as I am, and have somewhat thick skins. We did manage to run Jocko off for a while, but that was unfortunate and if everyone had jumped on me at once, I would have felt unwanted, too. I'm certainly glad he's back with us and contributing his wit and wisdom... though it's not always clear which it is at the moment... or which he THOUGHT it was. <snicker> There I go again.
Anyhow... shoot, I already said that... I certainly am not biased toward anyone... except maybe those darn "Progressives" who want to tear up our Constitution, which guarantees us this freedom to say what we want... within reason, of course. I believe in the "Golden Rule" which is non-denominational, and says that you should treat others as you would like to be treated... uh, within certain limits, thinking about some ob-normals, again.
There are circumstances where I believe Cole Younger's version " Do unto others before they do unto you" is appropriate, but that's a self-defense thing, the reason most of us CCW.
Again, almost everyone takes his/her turn in the bucket?... barrel?... does that mean anything?? rather, is the object of our humor, or what we thought was harmless humor. So, in conclusion... did I hear cheers and applause... I don't mean to hurt anyone's feelings, but this is not always apparent to the possibly offended party.:blushing:

[Zena oh Zena. Dietrich needs a spanking!!![/QUOTE]

When this happens I want video, I'm serious and I mean it sternly. Yeah right, serious, sternly, I don't do those things. He blindsided me with that San Francisco deal, went right over my head, thank goodness.
Please count me out of the threesome discount though, I try to live and let live but the best way for me to do that is distance, much much distance.

Well I guess I better ask forgiveness for my non PC post...I was not trying to offend any person, group, or orientation....I live in Atlanta Ga and next to San Fran this is the most Happy and Gay city in America...I have two friends who happen to be Gay and thats ok with me, it's just not my personal lifestyle....We get along with each other great and crack jokes back and forth all the time...What someone does in private is their business and theirs alone, period.....Ok now having said that, I really do hope they expand the Flaming Panda franchise to Atlanta cause Dietrich says they have the absolute best Banana cream fudge nut smoothies that are just to die for!!!! Oh cr@p, here comes john...gotta go now...see ya!!!!!:p
