I'm getting ready to start seriously hunting some leather for my MK9. Can somebody please advise what other Kahr models share the same frame size, so that I can look for holsters that will work?
Thanks,
Gonzo

Dunno how you intend to carry. I have a K9 myself and I use a Bianchi 6B ATB IWB style holster clipped inside my pocket most of the time. My next one of this style will be a Crossbreed or MTAC.

Bianchi 6D ATB Inside the Waistband Holster Right Hand Kahr K9, K40, P9, P40, MK9, MK40 Suede Tan - MidwayUSA (http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productNumber=775267)

SuperTuck Deluxe (http://www.crossbreedholsters.com/IWB/tabid/56/CategoryID/1/List/0/Level/1/ProductID/1/Default.aspx?SortField=UnitCost+DESC%2cProductName )

Inside Waistband Holsters - Minotaur Holsters - products new home - Minotaur MTAC Holster (http://www.comp-tac.com/product_info.php?products_id=95)

I use a DeSantis Speed Scabbard for OWB carry but honestly I don't like it all that much (it might well be my cheapo belt as what I don't like is it flops around a bit, or it might be the three slot design my next one of this style will be a two slot style).

DeSantis Speed Scabbard Belt Holster Right Hand Glock 17, 22, 31 Leather Black - MidwayUSA (http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productNumber=858988)

Classic Speed Scabbard (http://wildbillsconcealment.com.fountainheadhost.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=19)

I also sometimes use a horizontal shoulder rig. Mines an elcheapo and I intend to replace it with something much nicer from Andrews Custom Leather but it works nicely for now.

I already own the three and I will have more before I am done so I full well agree with the drawer full before I find the "one" I prefer, and honestly I like the different styles so I can't say I will ever settle on one holster, then again if I never get another I feel like I have one that will be perfect for how I want to carry on any given day.

I use a Crossbreed Minituck for my PM9, and I think it has the exact same dimensions as your MK9. Love it!

I am currently using a Mitch Rosen belt slide for my PM9. Great holster for OWB. I should have a Tucker Silent Thunder this week for IWB and I'll post my thoughts after I get it.

I have a MTAC for another gun that weighs about the same as your MK9. I really like the comfort and concealibility.

Yep. I have the Minituck for my MK9. It's awesome. I'm aware of it but not from any discomfort. It's just another article of clothing. Not much different than wearing a case for my phone.

Mitch Rosen Clipper is a very good one, no wait time -- if you buy from KahrShop. If you want designer rig, take a look at HBE and Garrity.

If you are thinking of OWB, both Mitch Rosen and Alessi belt-slide are top notch for the money... and I have an Alessi which I am thinking of selling... I use the HBE IWB all the time so it can go.

I wish CB made a cell phone carrier as comfortable. My PM9 is more comfortable to wear than my stupid case, but that's a personal problem I could change a lot cheaper than another CB.

They are from TT Gunleather and are some of the finest leather I have seen (and used) IMHO.

Hello gentlemen, new here so FWIW. I made my own holster because I like to IWB carry on my right hip with the butt forward. Couldn't find anything to meet that need so decided to make my own. Hand sewn with leather loop and snap.
Regards to all.

Thank you sir. Have had a PM9 for a year or so and am now adding an MK9 to go along with it. Holster is not a thing of beauty, but I will post pics sometime over the weekend. Been working six days a week so not much fun time left. But I got a job so no complaints!

PS I did make a leather/kydex combo that I carry sometimes as well. Will try to get it on as well.

Galco makes a great ankle holster for the kahr. I also use a modified blackhawk #3 pocket holster. both holsters hide the gun well and keep it where i put it. im still looking for the "perfect" owb hoilster.

Don Hume 721 OT for owb carry. Fits both the PM9 and the MK9. Very good quality, high ride, and around $50.

I posted these in another thread re: the grips that Bawanna45cal made for me and the grip screws I modified and used but this is more for the holster.

Here are a couple shots in my new custom TT Gunleather holster. It can be worn either OWB or IWB.

Check out Tucker Gunleather. I have the Cover Up IWB for my MK40 and it is super comfortable. The only downside is that it does not stay open for easy reholstering. I got their Silent Thunder IWB for my Sig P229. It is leather lined kydex with an almost identical pattern to the Cover Up. I now have a Silent Thunder IWB on order for my MK40 as well as I do shoot IDPA with it sometimes and my two handed reholster is making the safety officer's hair fall out.

Here is the link to Tucker's web site.

I have a Don Hume IWB holster, but its pretty thick, and is really easy to see through my shirts

I was unhappy with several holsters I've ordered in the past and especially after waiting forever for them, so my solution was to make my own. It's not that difficult and I enjoy doing it. Below are pics of my main carry holster at the moment. It's for IWB, RH, SOB and clips over my belt and jeans. It's very comfortable, I just need a better belt.

I'm currently waiting for a Crossbreed Super tuck and a good belt.

i took my milt sparks summer special II and trimmed to length. although its for my 1911, it works perfect with a MK9, great for a 1911, and good for a browning hi power.

CB Supertuck doesn't seem to be made for the MK9. But my CB Minituck works great for both my MK9 and PM9.
