Just trying to get some ideas about what kind of holster I might like. For me personally I'd like to have a tuckable IWB with a decent "body shield" to keep sweat off the gun. I'm looking at the Crossbreed miniclip, Bladetech UCH, and the Kholster Little Moon. I would prefer something that would be a little easier on the guns finish than kydex though. What do guys think?:der:

I don't like IWB carry. I have a Galco belt slide for my PM9. Mostly don't even know it is there. I have gone in stores with it not covered, forgetting about it. Open carry is legal here in Az.

The best holster for the PM9 is always the next one. I hope to order a TT Gunleather high ride pancake in the near future. Looks like a great high ride holster and should work for both my PM9 and MK9 - at least I hope so. I have a Don Hume OT which I like alot for the time being.

I prefer the Comp-Tac MTAC holster for my PM9. Since taking this picture, I have cut the bottom of the leather straight off and shortened the length of the rear clip to make it more comfortable. (See pics below)

I have and use a kholster for my PM9 for IWB, which I use & like well enough. But my favorite is an OWB Mitch Rosen w/matching mag carrier from the Kahrshop. For IWB, I'd give thumbs up to Crossbreed based on my supertucks for other guns.

good luck,

I just took a couple of quick picture of the MTAC modifications. I cut the bottom of the leather straight and I cut the bottom of the left clip (rear clip when being worn) to reduce the printing when bending over. Notice the left clip has one less hole to provide a larger forward cant.

I heated the Kydex with my wife's hair dryer and bent the edge that fits under the leather to create a much tighter fit for the gun. Now, I can hold the holster upside down and shake it without the gun moving. It used to fall out quite easily when held upside down.

After a month of constant use, you can see how the leather has molded to the shape of the gun and curved to fit comfortably behind my right hip. I can wear the gun for 14+ hours a day without any discomfort.

I guess you could wear one of those all the time around the house... by itself... just needs a little support like a jockstrap... maybe a back panel, like Tarzan.:D
Sorry, I'm a little bored -- my wife's at work and I would have to go to the living room or bring my 22" LCD back in here, since the new plasma blew up a few days ago.:(

I am in the market for an IWB holster for my PM45. I've been wearing my PM9 in a Minituck and it seems to weigh too much and I have to keep my belt tighter than I like. I like as thin as possible with some retention -- not fancy, thick leather, though.

Thanks for the ideas. There are so many holster makers that you don't here about. I still haven't decided on which gun or which holster but I'n getting closer to pulling the trigger on one. PM9 most likely, holster is still up in the air, but A hybrid is most likely for that.

I am, and always will be, a Crossbreed fan.I have four of the supertucks and one of the minitucks. The mini is for my PM9 and I cannot say enough good things about it.I have heard that women have issues with Crossbreeds because of the differences between how the sexes are built but I highly recommend them for guys.

I was wondering what you've found that might be better than the Mini Tuck for the PM9. Does it need more of a "wing" to hold ity in place. I haven't found much that looks as comfortable. Maybe a stickier cloth like the Desantis Nemesis has would ease the weight. It seems like it would be about as light as you could go. I was thinking about the Crossbreed with the single clip, can't remember what they call it though.

There's a QwikClip($66.50 + $15 for horsehide) for medium and smaller (or larger. There's a 1911 next to a QC) and a MicroClip($58.50 + $10 for HH) for 380s and PM9s.
I have to put on my Minituck before fastening my pants and belt, so that's a bother if I have to leave the gun in the van. For a quick trip I grab one of my Uncle Mike's IWB cheapies for the PM9. Next chance I get I'll look for something light for the PM9 instead of the UM, and something similar for the PM45 until I figure out what I want for it.
Because of various reasons, my stomach has gotten bigger than my waist and I've got to keep tightening up my belt to keep it from "sliding down".
I just put on the UM for my TPH and have the PM9 in it -- barely "fits", but there's no cant and it doesn't hide CCW as well as the Minituck. But, I'm just running to the ATM and the convenience store for lottery tickets. I'm in shorts with a drawstring and a less-than floppy tee. I'm always worried about those two places and really watch for any indications of a possible threat -- situational awareness.
I leaped out and bought a Minituck for my missing P380N and "saved" on the HH by using some mink oil on the inside of the holster, but I'm starting to think that I would have been better off with the MicroClip for the 380 -- easier to put on and take off dressed as I am now. That Dietrich and/or Ripley16 talked me into getting MiniTucks.
If you get a Crossbreed holster, check out the FAQ's first. They give a 10% discount for LE, current NRA members, and ANY military -- active or retired.:cheer2:

I carry my PM45 with this little ClipDraw.
It is incredible, I have this same set up on my Rohrbaugh and have never had a problem with either of them. I wear regular belts that are 1.25 in wide and the clip almost disappears behind the belt loop. There is no necessary untucking or blousing of the shirt. This is very comfortable and simple. I am 6ft. 170 lbs, so if it works for me it will work for anyone.
