I tried using a Lula speed loader in my 6- and 7-round mags for a CM-9. It would load about 3 rounds OK, and then would stop, either getting hung up on the mag or otherwise just not feeding the round and then coming out to cycle the next round in. Does anyone know of any speed loaders that work OK with these mags, or is there a way to modify the Lula to make it work? Or do I just have to feed these puppies manually?

When I first started using mine, it would do that. Then I found out that I was inadvertently pushing the lock button down (the one on the top rim that keeps it closed for storage).

My Lula 9mm-.45 works just fine on my CM9 mags.

works fine in my kahr mags, even my litlte 380. I don'tuse it that much though, as now at the range I just load 5 rounds instead of 6 in my PM9, as it is not big deal to squeeze that last round in the mag for range fodder.

My UpLULA (9mm thru .45ACP) works just fine on my 6-round CM9 magazines. I don't use any 7-round or 8-round mags, but I'm sure it would work just fine on both of them, too.

On my .380ACP I use the BabyUpLULA (.22LR - .380ACP), which works well.

FWIW: I use the StripLULA on my 5.56mm mags. It does a great job.

i use 3 differant lulas and have removed the lock from all 3 it just causes trouble. if you just load one caliber make a bushing for front and sides to hold mag centered on back of loader it really speeds it up.

the uplula is a good loader. I thought I just had to have iut but I guess I am lazy, now, I just load 5 in the my pM9 mags with total ease and see no need to have it. Just me. I boought it realy for my G19 mags as loading 15 was a b!tch,b ut again I got lazy/smart and just loaded about 8 orunds with total ease. To me saved wasting alot of ammop to and made me take a break from the "bang" thing. Just sayin.

It is a nice tool though, I can't knock that, I just now knock the necessity of "gotta" have it.
