Well...I got my Kel-Tec PF9 back from the shop...for the second time...sold it the next day.
My P9 came yesterday...spent some time following the advice found in this forum. Went shooting today.
What a pleasure!
200 rounds federal 115gr fmj
12 rounds federal hydrashock 124 gr jhp
14 rounds hornady zmax 115 gr jhp
Flawless!
I never could have shot the PF9 this much in one day...it just hurt too much...and kept getting failures. The only thing I feel a little sore from is loading mags.
This pistol is a real pleasure to shoot. Love it!
The federal ball ammo was not very accurate...kept shooting right. I was surprised when I shot the Hydrashock and hornady zmax to see that I was far more accurate...especially after already firing 200 rounds.
Anyway...happy camper here!

Yeah baby, another happy p9 camper. Congrats.
Sounds like you are well on your way. Pick up a uplula mag loader and you will be much happier on range days. Kahr mags are a pia to load, tight springs, plus with only 7-8 rounds, you burn em quick too. The uplula makes it quick n easy on the fingers.
Cant speak to the federal ammo accuracy ish. I run wwb as my plinking round (115 and 147) and dont have any accuracy complaints compared to my pdx1 carry round. They are all as accurate as i can shoot. Maybe they will pull back in as the gun loosens up.
Congrats again on the new pistol...it will only get better the more rounds you put down range.

ur accuracy will improve alot with just more range time. as u have found out kahrs have a super but looooong smooth trigger system--by design. glad to see u peddled the kel tek to.
Take ur time with the P9. It is just ne hell of a great gun ..

Welcome to KahrTalk.
Glad to read that your P9 was flawless. That would be way to many rounds for me to shoot in one session but I'm happy it worked out for you. Says something about your stamina.

Welcome Abe! Great to hear another successful report from a proud new Kahr papa!
You brought up your thumbs... since these guns are so nice to shoot, you do end up shooting more, and therefore loading more mags. This will help, it is a very high quality mag loader, and many here highly recommend it... http://www.maglula.com/PistolMagLoaders/UpLULA9mmto45ACPmags.aspx
Now your sore thumbs won't stop you from going through one more box at the range. It also means range visits tend to cost more. ;)

Welcome to the forum and to the world of Kahr. Some folks find the grip is improved by some sort of grip sleeve, making the gun even more fun to shoot. Enjoy your P9.

Congrats on the new pistol and welcome. This is a great forum and it's members are always here to answer questions and help out.
Glad your P9 is working out for you. I agree with you on the Kel-Tec. I shot one at my range a few months ago. It was no fun at all.

I feel the P9 is the best all-around handgun I've ever shot. Only 0.9" thick, weighs only a couple oz more than PM9, still concealable in large pockets, yet you can still get a full grip on it. Lots of other guns may beat it in one particular category but once you start grouping things together as a package it wins for me hands-down. To each his own though.

Ah the P9. World most perfect carry pistol. IMHO. Course I could be somewhat biased here on this subject. Keep shooting it and have fun. Glad you have a gun to proud of and welcome.
