Magazine Spring

After doing my 200-round break-in, I decided to clean my CW9. I took apart the magazine and now I am unsure how the spring goes in. There appears to be two conflicting pictures in the manual. The first picture shows the end of the spring facing forward and the second picture shows it facing rearward. Which is correct?

#13 is correct. the angle should point upwards towards the front of the magazine tube. either end of the mag spring is acceptable also.

Thank you too Jocko. Wondered about that. Have had some brands of mags where it did seem to matter.
