I hope all you Dads out there have a happy Father's Day, and that all your children remember, and visit or call if they can't make it in person.

Mine never calls, writes or sends cards. I guess he is too busy.

Sounds like the second half of that song "cats in the cradle". That's too bad. :( Maybe you should call him... but maybe on some other day besides Father's Day. The years pass fast, as you probably know better than me.

I think that horse head may have left a lasting impression on the kid.

Here's a pic of one of Jocko's neighborhood kids on Halloween.
I wonder where she got the idea for that costume?

Actually I think that's a picture of Jocko in his youth. Sydney sent me that same photograph awhile back.
I told him I was surprised Jocko cross dressed. All he said was life is full of surprises.
I of course have no documentation to prove this unless I can find the picture and the note.

My daughter and new son-in-law brought me my fathers day gift today ( I will be traveling tomorrow ). A hand made knife in an custom alligator sheath. I also heard from my wife how much they paid for it, way too much. Being a dad is very good most of the time.

That sounds worthy of a photograph! No hurry, I'll just wait right here.
