Just installed the trijicon night sights from kahr on my CW45. It was challenging to get the old rear sights out. The front sight installation was a piece of cake. The rear site was very challenging. The rear sights need to be pounded out to the right, and the new ones tapped in from the right. The dovetail cut on the slide is bevelled out on the right and wider.
The new rear sight required LOTS of filing to get it to fit. I couldn't find a non marring or brass punch at lowe's, so I took a steel punch and taped a piece of moleskin onto the end of the punch to keep from marring the sights or slide. Not perfect, but it worked. It actually ended up taking a few hours, but I'm glad I attempted it. I got another set for the CM9. I'm hoping the second time around it goes a lot smoother.
For any of you considering attempting this, it's not rocket surgery, but it does require some patience.
