Did Kahr make a P-9 Covert? I own a P40 Covert and would like to get a nine.

Yes, Kahr made a P9 Covert, however they do not make it anymore. They do not make any "Coverts" anymore. You can make your own by cutting down a P9.

Why not buy the pm9? Because with the full size slide you get better practical accuracy, better ballistics, less noise, and often better reliability. Probably also better durability. I have the P9 Covert, and I went through forty hours of progressively advanced training with it, and performed well in a class where most of the other students used much larger pistols (e.g. various sizes of Glocks and 1911s).
