Is Kydex hard enough to wear the blueing off the pistol fairly quick as it goes in/out with ordinary usage? More so than a leather holster would?

Kydex will indeed wear a finish eventually. Can't say that it will wear any faster or not than leather though...I personally haven't noticed much difference either way...My crossbreed holster has kydex on one side and leather on the other and both sides of my piece look the same...

Big fan of my Silent Thunder IWB holster. Leather lined kydex and it works like a charm. Kydex keeps the shape of the holster (obviously) and I prefer leather next to my guns. Best of both worlds!

Those silent thunder holsters are pretty sweet...been planning to pick one up, have a set of CT laser for my kahr and still haven't put it on cuz I can't decide on a new holster. The Silent thunder is still high on my list

I don't have any blued guns, so I don't know about the wear on them. But I know that the stainless steel finish on my CM9 is unaffected by my kydex holsters.

I think a leather would wear it down faster, but i don't have any proof to back it up except my kydex holsters having worn any of my pistols.

Leather picks up dirt and the dirt wears the finish. I think that Kydex holsters would show less wear.

I own both and see no difference between the two.
