hey all, I'm new to the forum and to the kahr brand. I'm a proud owner of a CW-9 and I put at least 500 rounds through er with very little problems - I was wondering what kind of IWB holsters you are using ? please include a few pro's a cons, as I have the middle management spread going and I'm looking for comfort and concelability as I have recently accuired my CCW here in OH. Thanks for providing a great forum to lurk in and out of while learning a thing or two-

Welcome to KahrTalk.
I have a Remora holster that I'll use on occasion (I mostly pocket carry my PM9). I'm happier with my belt clip holster that I use for my Glock than the Remora which I got for my PM9.

I have a CM9, and use the Desantis superfly for pocket carry...but I also find it just as useful to tuck it into my waistband at about 1 o'clock. The tension from my pants/tacky material of the holster keep it in place quite well. Also, check out whitehat hoslters. Haven't really used mine that much with the CM9, but they are very nice and cheap. If you get one, go ahead and get the horsehide combat cut.

The most comfortable IWB that I have worn (and have tried just shy of a dozen) is the Crossbreed super tuck or mini tuck. I carry either my kahr CM9 or my S&W M&P .40c in them and can barely feel them there. Another pro to the crossbreed is the spacing between the clips, there is nearly 5-6 inches inbetween them so the rig is really stable and stays put. Two cons for the mini tuck would be the metal clips it comes with are sharp at the edge, actually cut myself on one. Also the holster could use a lil more cant in my opinion.
I am also looking at a garrett silent thunder holster...

There's a bunch of us here who will highly recommend the PJ IWB Holster (http://pjholster.com/?page_id=37) with over the belt clip. This holster is so thin, so light and so comfortable that you literally cannot feel the gun and holster sitting there in the sweet spot just behind your hip! Sitting, standing, moving around, it is like it isn't there! Get it with FBI cant, which helps with the comfort, the concealability and makes it easier to draw. Retention is very good and adjustable. And Paul is a great guy to do business with!

I went the inexpensive route and got a DeSantis Sof-Tuck holster. I really like it because you can adjust it several ways, and it's reinforced mouth makes reholstering much easier. There only around $30 or so. I've ridden with it behind my back for a couple hours a few times, but I mostly put it in the console. What I don't like about it is the stiff clip that latches onto your pants. Makes it a little difficult to put on once you are dressed. Almost forgot to welcome you to the forum, and wish you good luck and a lot of enjoyment with your Kahr. I know I have. And trust it 99.9% Nothing is perfect.

Thanks for the help , I see this forum will be very useful tool for increasing my knowledge and Inventory of multiple shooting toys and attachments - I'm using a Galco pocket holster and a Desantis belt slide at the moment and both are very workable for cooler weather wear. I was looking at the crossbreed series but now I have a few more to consider-- Thanks Again dtak

I just purchased my first Kahr too, a CW40. I bought a kydex holster that is between an IWB and OWB. It clips on the outside of your pants, and under your belt. The advantage is you have zero discomfort because it dosen't rub your body like a normal IWB, and it has perfect weapon retention and a smooth draw. You can pick one up at RHINOHOLSTERS.com for 30.00 . Check em out, your pistol and your waist will thank you.http://kahrtalk.com/rhino

I use sliders.
Leather and nylon.
It's easy to wear under any shirt.
I use a velcro belt so I can wear it with just about anything.
Holds it securely, easy to draw, easy to reholster one handed.
