I just wanted to chime in and give my take on my new CM9.

As some of you know my first Kahr was a P380 and it was one of those that needed frame replacement. That really sucked and tainted me against ever buying another Kahr, I thought it was my last.

After months of wrestling, I weighed out the quality’s I really like about Kahr handguns and I decided to go for it. Lots of people on various forums have had great success with the cm9 and having owned a Kahr I know they need a little break in help plus a proper lube job to get them off to a great start. We’ll guess what?....

I’m absolutely in love with my new CM9! Granted I only put 150 rounds through it, I feel real good about this one. Out of the 150 rounds I only had one malfunction (failure to lock back after the last shot). The JHP’s I ran were also flawless.

One thing I didn’t like was when I broke the gun down to lube it before taking it to the range, the recoil spring was counter sunk I was like what the heck? Check the forum asap!

This here can get a Glock owners temperature up real quick and cause him to think he just bought a lemon. I forgot Kahrs aren’t Glocks and you need to insert the slide lock pin for everything to align itself, whew!! :o

I'm looking forward to more shooting success with this little beauty. The serial # on mine starts with IO33, anyone know its birthday?

Maybe it's the lighting, or the picture not being in focus, but your recoil spring looks different than that in my CM9. It looks black, and flat-surfaced where mine is silver and round. Also, I don't think my recoil spring guide is recessed that much when off the frame. I have to clean it tomorrow after shooting 100 rounds through it today at the range, so I'll re-check on this.
