About two months back bought a new PM9. Had a major problem with light primer strikes with many brands of ammo, Tried everything I knew to do. Sent it back to Kahr about a month ago.
Got it back today. Has a new slide and a new barrel. Will take it to the range later this week. Will document the results.

That outta take careof the light strike issue.
I would clean and lube that slide though, just to be sure all is well before that first "bang" thing.

I did. I'm treating it like it's brand new again. Flushed the striker channel, fully cleaned the slide and barrel and lubed. The only reason I'm not at the range right now is I'm watching my grandson who has a bug. Oh and have racked the slide 250 times so far.

Still have not made it to the range but could not stand it any longer. Went out back just to try it out. Fired 12 rounds of Remington UMC 124 gr and 12 rounds of Remington Golden Saber 147 gr. which these rounds had given me the most problems previously with light primer strikes with the Golden Sabers not firing AT ALL. They functioned without any problem. I am thrilled. I believe I have a keeper now. Will be back on the range next week for a thorough test however I expect no problems. Great job by Kahr techs.:D

Hey, good sign being able to fire 24 rounds of previously problem ammo. Hope after your next time out you're able to trust the gun for carry.
