Burn Notice in Two Weeks

This looks like a Kahr. It was in the preview... freeze frame... for two weeks from this past Thursday... July 12th.

I compared this pistol to my P380 and PM9 and the slide is longer than the frame... more like my P40, but I don't have a CW9 or P9 to compare with it. What do you think?

That's what I was thinking and if I weren't so lazy... full of dinner and wine... I would try to measure the muzzle diameter of my P40 VS. the width of the slide and try to rule the .40 S&W out.

I just looked at my CW45 and that's my vote. She has all three fingers on the grip and her extended index finger looks to be at least an inch shy of the end of the barrel. She's at least as tall as Michael is so she most likely doesn't have really small hands.

If not the CW45, than at least the CW series...

Here's my guess:

I'm guessing CW40 or 45 based on the diameter of the barrel. The 40 may have a big enough grip for her to get all 3 fingers but if we could see a little more grip I'd go 45 for sure. My hand fills up the whole grip of the .45

From the forward portion of polymer frame, there looks to be around 1/2inch of metal slide showing...and, the sharper corners at the nose of the slide gives it up to be CW9...me thinks.

The length of the slide is what makes me think CW9 or P9... probably the CW because they saved some money. It's definitely not the P380 or PM sized pistols because they only have about 1/8" of slide beyond the front of the frame.

I'll measure my P40 and see if I can determine if it's a .40 or not. In this preview I only got the chance for this freeze frame... no other shots.

Well, that was inconclusive... trying to measure off my screen with the reflection-glow in the image.

I got my wife to pose with the pistols to attempt to approximate the muzzle images... with great enthusiasm... of course! :rolleyes:

Top left she's holding the P40 and on the right, the K9. Then the PM45 to the left of the P40 and next is the P380 to the left of the PM9, then the stack with P380, PM9, PM45 and P40.

I'm thinking it's a CW9... look at the fingers and the muzzles. My wife is 5'6" and about 120 lbs. The gal in Burn Notice can't have that much bigger hands and her finger is a lot larger the the bore, and my wife's is smaller than the .40.

It's NOT a P380 unless they make a LONG slide version. There's more slide protruding in front of the frame. The P40 is the only one I show here that has that much slide past the front of the frame. I don't have a CW9 or P9 to compare with, but I'm sure it's like the P40.

I swear she had a K9 or K40 at one time because it had a Laser Grip that I noticed and told my wife. I'm sure they just said bring the Kahr and someone grabbed a different one. Anyhow, I don't have the episode available to check and freeze-frame for images.

Thanks, Barth. I think it's Rebecca. Fiona is in prison. Rebecca used several guns and I'm not sure whether it was in the script or not, but I noticed two if not three different ones... or more.

I watched this again and it's almost definitely a P-series. You can tell in a few shots that the front site is dovetailed. As for caliber, i'm not sure.

She used 2 or more different pistols, with at least two of them Kahrs... a P or CW 9/40 and a Laser-Gripped K9. I accidentally erased the episode before I could check the guns with freeze frame.
