I've been carrying my CM9 with a Kydex IWB PJ Holster for about a month now. I have the FBI cant with the over the belt J-Hook and carry it at about the 3:30 - 4:00 position. I really like that set up, since it is very easy to remove the holster without having to take off my belt. I really need to get a real gun belt now. I bought the Dickies work belt as a temporary measure, and I know from what I've read that gun belts make all the difference in the world. The Dickies belt seems fine and has a reinforced leather piece in the middle of it, but the edge of the belt thins out, so the J-hook does not always fit snug against the belt. Other than that the CM9 is an excellent gun to carry concealed. I live in Florida and mostly wear shorts and t-shirts and have not had any problems being able to conceal my weapon. My wife and I did a 6-mile walk near the beach last night and even though I sweat a lot, it was a comfortable carry. I sometimes worrying about printing, but even with a little larger t-shirt the concealment is excellent.

I'm a first time carrier and never had any concerns carrying with one in the chamber. Might as well leave it at home if there isn't a round ready to go. I've been carrying with Hornady 125 grain XTP. I was going to get the critical defense, but they were out of it. I shot 25 rounds with the XTPs and had zero problems. Okay to wrap it up, I am very impressed with the CM9 for shooting and carrying. I don't think I could have made a better choice, and I looked and researched for months before I bought the CM9. I hope everyone has a great 4th of July...just too darn bad it falls in the middle of the work week. Oh well, gotta take what you can get!

Here is the belt I use (I have a plain one and an eagle print one, both in black):

It is a good, thick, 1.5" belt and I really like the roller buckle - it makes it much easier to cinch up and to unbuckle.

I spent over twice as much on a two layer gun belt, and I find it overly stiff and not as comfortable. With these light weight kahrs, it is overkill and a waste of money. The Amish belt works great and I use it as my daily belt in my blue jeans all the time, whether I'm carrying or not.

Actually, the Amish belt was exactly what I had in mind. Thanks for the link. I'll be ordering one tonight!
