What SD round have PM45 owners found that flows great thru their PM45? Thinking about getting one and would like to know what it prefers.
Thanks

I like standard pressure, 230-grain, bonded bullets. Speer 230-grain Gold Dots Short Barrel are my favorite for the PM45. The SB version has shallower but wider at the bottom cavities and performs well out of the 3-inch barrels. The BONDED Remington Golden Sabers in 230-grain are also good. I use them in my longer-barreled .45's, besides the regular 230-grain Speer Gold Dots that are available in 50-round "LE" boxes, while the SB versions only come in 20-round boxes, so far. I buy all of my defense ammo online at the best prices and constantly look for the best deals with regard to price, no tax, and low or free shipping.
Here is a link to my range testing of defense ammo in my PM45 along with some others, but you can see the actual flashes and recoil in the PM45 for the ammo mentioned above:

My two both will feed, shoot and eject damn near anything. Flying ashtrays, no problem, hard ball, no problem. Various 185 through 230 grain hollow points, no problem - reloads and factory.
The only problem I've ever had is with low powered reloads failing to cycle the action briskly enough, and even WWB at first... having a few failures to cycle fully in the first box or two. However, once a few boxes were through the (bought new) gun, it functioned WWBs just fine. The used PM45 had no problems with any functioning.

Thanks, CJB - your two don't sound like they are picky at all.
Try the Speer 200 grain Gold Dots...they will have slightly better velocity than the 230 grainers and will expand better out of the 3" barrel.
I have also shot the 185 grain remmington Golden Sabres and they do quite well also.

Mine really likes Fiocchi shooting Dynamics 230 JHP's. Sportsmans Guide online. Cheap enough that you can shoot them a lot and practice, and good enough to get the job done! I use these in all of my .45's. Always reliable, always go bang and toss that ashtray into the target with authority.
