Kind of a stretch to post here, but can't really find a better category. Looking at getting an all-purpose bag for light day hiking, and maybe even use as a bug-out bag. Ended up in posession of a Maxpedition Falcon II with another purpose in mind.
I have only seen solid reviews of Maxpedition gear, but was wondering what other makes are out there with a comparable quality/price range that I might want to compare features with.
The falcon is a mid size bag with about 1500 cubic inches of volume, has room for either a hydration bladder or CCW, and lists around $150 or so, street price more like $120.
What sayeth the forumites?
