Well a few days ago my PM9 was returned to me by Kahr with a brand new slide and barrel to correct a major problem with light primer strikes.

I then briefly tried it out firing 12 Remington Golden Sabers and 12 Remington UMC, This was the ammo that had been the worst for failing to fire. They fired flawlessly.

Today fired 145 rounds of Remington UMC and Golden Sabers, Blazer Brass, Speer Gold Dots and Hornady Critical Duty. All fired without fail.

This weapon has never had a failure to feed or a failure to eject. I now am willing to trust my life and the lives of those I love to it. It starts tomorrow as my EDC. Great job Kahr on the fix.:D

Good news! Kudos to Kahr as well. Hope you are keeping the striker channel clean by flushing it with brake cleaner as part of each cleaning cycle.

Thanks for sharing the good news. http://home.mindspring.com/%7Ejustsomeguy/thumbsup.gif

Awesome! Always good to hear when a problem gets fixed by Kahr. I wonder why they replaced the whole slide AND barrel and not just something in the striker mechanism? Or at least just the slide and not the barrel? Maybe it is a sign that they are too busy to troubleshoot and figure just to pull a new assembly off the shelf just to get it done quickly?
