The question was asked about when horizontal should holster came into vogue and during my research I found this pattern for a vertical holster. Seems to fit our timeframe.
There is also a couple of other books/patterns that may be of interest. They're digital downloads, but since I'm on my office computer, I can't download them to give a review.
