Are the barrels for Kahr's interchangeable for a given caliber?
Specifically could I drop a TP-45 barrel into my CW-45 if I were so inclined. With the tight tolerences of the Kahr I wasnt sure if you could do that or not.

THAT WOuLD BE A QUESTION TO RUN BY KAHR. some barrels are interchangeable. I am gonna go out on a limb here and say ur TP45 barrel will work in the CW slide, what sticks out the front of the slide is immaterail . I am pretty sure that all steel versions barrls will not interchangewith the polymer guns. I think the lugs are different

that statementisnot really true as stated. A cm9 barrel will fit in a PM9 gun and vice versa, a pM40 barrel will fit in a cm40 and vice versa. a cw9 will fit in a P9 and vice versa. I figured u would get that reply though as it coers kahrs bases for sure.

I may email a follow up asking just that question because the polygonal barrels are so much easier to clean. Especially if your anal likw me, I can spend lots of time on a conventional rifled barrel trying to get that one last spot of carbon.......

If I were working at a gun company I would tell you to use the original barrel for your model to cover the companies but, even if I knew for a fact they would "fit in the other gun. I am guessing the answer you gut had more to do with the liability than weater or not they would fit and funtion.
