that I'm not a better pistol shooter because I would really shine with this CW9 :D

Had 32 rounds fired through when I bought it, today I ran about 100 through (90%FMJ/10%Gold Dots). All fed, fired, and ejected FLAWLESSLY!! After some of the things I've heard about this gun online I was expecting catastrophic failures...goes to show people only bother posting complaints instead of praises most of the time.

Mag didn't fall out, gun cycled every round, went bang everytime the trigger was pulled, hands weren't cheese-grated, hell I might take the Hogue grip back. All in all I LOVE THIS GUN!!! It was a joy to shoot, unlike the PF9 I had. This will definatley be my carry gun for a long time. The Kahr was exactly what I hoped it to be. Even turned my friend to a fan! I need to master the trigger and practice some more, but I'm confident in this gun if the need arises. Sorry I didn't post pics but all the shots were in the silhouette I was shooting at lol, sorry no .007 MOA here.

Sorry for jabbering on, I'm enjoying my Pabst. Cheers!

I bought my first Kahr CW9 instead of a PF9 on the recommendation of a dealer at a local gun show. I'm glad I got it and have been hooked on Kahr's since. I've owned 3 and still have 2. I traded the CW9 for a CM9 and still miss it. So I had to get the CW45 to make up for it :)

My theory that the Kel-Tec PF-9 is simply a gateway gun to a Kahr CW9 is holding true. I'm one of those, myself.

Since it shoots fairly reliably (fairly uncommon for that model, it seems) I still have my PF-9 though for those rare carry situations where I really need to not get made.

Welcome to the kahr club!

The CW9 just has so much going for it. Priced right, very reliable, perfect size for many hands , light weight but still fun to shoot.

It's got to be one of the most reliable Kahr models, I love mine and it carries IWB Very easy.

It's a very accurate little gun once you seend some time with it and get used to the trigger.

Actually I bought the PF-9 because I couldn't afford the CW9 at the time. Trust me, I wanted the CW lol.

Yeah it is! I can't stop bragging about what a great little pistol it is. I had a DeSantis Sof-Tuk and took it back, I just didn't like it. I tried several and ended up with the cheap Uncle Mike's. I like it because it allows for a full perch on the grip of the gun. The others I tried sat too low for my liking and I had to fumble around the waist line. I want a fast unobstructed draw.

I guess I am another convert. Although I never had a bit of trouble out of my PF-9, I sold it the week after I fired my CW9. Based on the performance of the Kahr the Kel-Tec seemed superfluous. However, the CW9 was a gateway to my police Trade-in K9.

Funny you mention that....because I want a K9 Elite with wood grips now. lol!! I'm a Kahr advocate now...these are actually enjoyable to shoot unlike the PF-9. I'm not knocking it, it does what it's supposed to...just not as refined as the CW!

The really embarassing thing is that I bought my PF-9 when they were new and relatively rare. I actually paid more for the hard chrome PF-9 than I did for my trade-in K9.

I bought first PF9 six years ago and they been ok if I concentrate on grip and don't shoot em too much. Back then, didn't see too many Kahrs in LGS's and always thought they were beyond my financial means. Paid $355 for new CW9 and they had a new PF9 for $290. I'll keep my PF9s (they been rebuilt or replaced and low rd count) but my gunshop owner quoted me $375 for CM9 and I'm real tempted...I do love this CW9 for IWB and a CM9 for pocket is likely in my future.

That is how I stumbled upon my CW9. I was looking for a second PF9 at a gun show last fall and didn't see one that I wanted for a good price. Came upon a used CW9 with two mags. I handled it and bought it for $100 more than I wanted to spend on the PF9. One of the better risks I took in life. :D I still have the PF9 but it may or may not disappear when I find another CW9 (or maybe if I can find a NYPD trade in K9). Bottom line is I will have another Kahr. Excellent defensive weapons!

This is what happens when you,1. read understand and comply with the manual 2. Dont limp wrist it 3. fire enough rounds to fall in love and 4. have hands tougher than jello. If you were in my unit I'd let you walk point.
