I can't remember where I seen it, but it looked like they were beveling the front of the slide more like there larger models. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Haven't seen it on there site or in the 2010 catalog.

Just went to the gunshop. They had a black PM40 with the same slide as in that pic. PM9 was still the regular way. Does anyone know whats up?

Just picked up my PM9 today. It has the 'new' beveled slide.

I just got back from my local Gun Store and they shared with me that they made it a little longer so they could put a 45 cal recoil spring in it to help with the recoil and reliability.

just got a PM40 with the new style slide. I don't have any other Kahr's so Im still not sure the difference besides looks, I guess I could measure it to see if its longer than the specs indicate, but you don't know exactly where they're measuring from and to. The spring is very stiff, but its what I would expect on a 40.

and PM9 recoil springs are exactly the same poundage. 18#. IMO if you ever replace them, go to wolffs and order the 20.5# for the 40 cal. Just has to be a better combo..
