I am looking into purchasing a BDE in 45acp. In my research, I am noticing that magnum research is only shipping 1 10round mag. WTF!

Where did you notice only one mag?
I'm seeing 2 mags with the baby DE on the Magnum Research website and Davidson's:

It's quite evident that they are shipping at least some with two mags. That Magnum Research link I listed above is for the steel BEII with two magazines. The sale price for the same gun from Davidson's to one of my local dealers is $540 before tax and shipping fees. (here's one for ($532.91 http://www.richiespng.com/product.php?item=93896)

I suspect the price you posted is from grabagun, but regardless of that, it's hardly MR's fault that you can't find it at the price you want with two magazines. Did you call the place you found your price to verify that there is only one mag in the box? I ask because grabagun lists a mag as an accessory. I wonder if that's "accessory" as in addition to one in the gun.

I've never encountered slow shipping from Bud's. Usually takes about 24 hours once the payment clears. They'll wait about 10 days or more to clear if you pay by e-check. They don't take PayPal. So I just eat the 3% CC fee and get my guns quick. They were so busy back before Christmas that some said they were slow. But don't write them off because they are a successful business that gets kinda busy every now and then.

Might be an old thread but mine came with 2 mags. Got it from Buds in about 4 or five days to my FFL from the click/buy.

Hell of a gun. Built like a tank. Had a while finding a holster for it, ordered it from Isreal.

This is my "End of the World" go to gun in the bug out bag.

Everything at Bud's is out of stock. Well maybe not everything, but anything worth owning.

But the Baby Eagle is a strong gun. I thought about putting night sights on mine, but I do not carry it hardly at all. All that weights of the gun puts my pants in gangster mode.
