Shot 215 rounds through my new CM9.
- What a shooter , very loud.
- recoil is minimal , very tame and accurate
- one jam at about round 50ish , and it was cleared instantly.
NO FTF, FTE or any issues except the one minor jam.
-- Awesome firearm ... The only issue I had was the first 100 rounds the slide did not lock back. I figured possibly it wasn't supposed to. Then on the 3rd box , I changed the way I pulled the trigger ... I pulled the trigger with more of my finger through the guard , and pulled harder with a better follow through (I'm used to my 2.5lb glass breaker on my M&P) and the slide locked back every time since then.
+P 115gr were a blast to shoot
- Shot 200 CCI Blazers
- 10 rounds of gold dots.
I love this gun

probably not ur finger change that helped the slidelock thing but kahr recoil springs are tighter than a virgin, and once u got some rounds through the gun and the spring took its desiged set, it is now working like it should. If ushot 215 rounds at one setting u put alot of rounds thorgh the gun, the gun can take it but sometimes the shooter gets tired and sh!t happens. The one jam could have been shooter error or just a qirk of the new gun settling in. Nice report, about like we expect anymore from the cm9.They are just that good of a gun. hoefully u have viewed the kahr lube chart, it is a dandy on the kahr tech section, then u might wantto stop by the propper prepping thread for even though ur cm9 did what it was designed to do, just readng that thread willgive u spme insights if needed. good hearing protectors is a must..

Good to hear! I had a few with the slide as well. Went away as it loosened up and has no longer been a problem since the first 50. Probably approaching a thousand now, and no issues at all.

IMO when u ge tthe gun runnig correc tand the slide is locking ack as designed, then u should fele the gun is in perfect time. Now don't be in a big hurry to change springs either, the gun will normally let u know when it needs some changes, as timing might start to change and u will see and feel it. Recoil springs will go alot further than many of us thing. we all have opinions as to when they should be changed but IMO once u get to know UR GUN then it will talk to u as time goes on to.

The day I got it I went on here and did the lube as described in tech !!
I'm not changing any springs or anything on this gun , it's 100x (IMO) then an LCP and I trust my life with it for its purpose !
That sounds good.
I picked my new CM9 up today from my FFL and will try it out on Friday. I hope my report will be as good as yours. Spent some of this afternoon prepping it for the Big Day. So far, so good...

It was a blast. I'm so happy I learned of its " existence " , befeore I bought another LCP. The CM9 truly shocked me -- size wise , build , and price. I never got into Kahrs , a lot of people had negative things to say -- but I'm 99% sure they either
1. Never shot one.
2. Didn't read that there is a break in period , for a reason (not like a kel tec where they just don't want you to return it after finding out its junk).
I am so happy with my CM9 , my next pistol may be a CM40 !
Best $370 you can spend on a CCW.
