Newbie with cw9

Hey guys new here just picked up a cw9 the other day planning to use it for concealed carry once my license comes. Went through the new kahr prep and used the lube diagram and headed for the range yesterday. I'm fairly new to pistols in general and admittedly not the greatest shot. This is my first 9mm, only other pistol is an xdm 40 and I was amazed at the low recoil even with the small size of the cw. Shot 200 rounds through it and I'm by far more accurate with this gun than any other I have ever shot. Not a single issue with the gun through all 200 rounds, twice when I put the magazine in the first bullet got hung up and nose dived but that was my error not having it all the way back in the mag. I'm in love with this gun already. Sorry no pics but from 7 yards I consistently had 7/7 in the black.

You will love your CW9. I've been carrying a P9 since 2002 when it replaced a Glock for carry. When I bought my P9 the CW9 was not available. The only difference between the two is that the P9 has a replacable front sight, if one wanted a night sight, a little more millwork and the P9 has a polygonal barrel as apposed to standard rifling on the CW. Someone said the slide lock pin was different but I couldn't say.

andu could have gottenthe P9 in the black dlc finish also, comes with a second magazine. internals are all the same. slide stop is forged over MIM but again that is a non issue IMO. The cw9 is a super buy and probalby tha tis why we readof less and less of new owners buying a P9..

The only regret I have about my CW9 is that I didn't get one years ago:o.
