I have several that I carry but, I never have "settled" on one full time.
Comfort is key to me because I feel good shooting all the ones I own.
I would like to hear what others think.

I carry my Kahr PM 45. The only other hand gun I own is a Springfield XD 45. The Kahr is much more conceallable.

Have to agreed with you on this, for me it depends on what I'm wearing and what I'm doing. Mainly in the summer it'll be my PM9 when I can get it away from the wife, I've asked her why she doesn't go buy herself one and she keeps telling me that no she doesn't want one.

I've gotten lazy the last few months. I either carry my Taurus M650 (small frame 357 with an enclosed hammer) or my Kahr PM9. The choice is made depending on what I'm doing that day and the weather. I do carry magnum ammo in the 357 (Corbon DPX) and +P Gold Dots in the PM9.

My full time job isn't poster per MN State law but they do have a no weapons policy in the manual. With how jobs are lately I haven't felt like taking any risks.

If the gun is going to live in the lockbox (got one in each vehicle) it's probably the M650. I take the PM9 when it's more likely I'll shift stuff around in my pockets and slide it in for some shopping.

If I feel an elevated threat level I can go to a Taurus PT92 (Supertuck) or a medium frame 357 (Supertuck) but I got that one more for hiking. Good chance there'll still be a pocket gun along.;)

Previously I've carried a subcompact XD9 daily but with getting the PM9 and the PT92 it's an extra gun right now.:D

I carry my K40 the most and especially in the warmer months As it gets cooler to damn cold I carry my sig p-229 .40SW. The p-229 is larger and heaver but it holds 15 rounds and with another mag in a belt clip that gives me 30 on my person.
Just for fun sometimes I carry both. ;)

I have a G26 in my car, but easily the one I carry the most is the PM9, especially since 9 months out of the year here is warm weather. When it's cold I go to an OWB holster and a G19 or G26.

PM40 / after many hrs researching what types of gun was going to work best for me. From the fire power of the 9mm to stopping power of 45. To be reliable, concealable and comfortable for EDC. Hmmmm I see a PM9/45 in the near future.

I LOVE this gun.

In the past, I carried a USPc45 in a Bladetech NANO holster.

I have come down to alternating between:

1. Glock 32C (357 SIG, TFO nightsights, LaserMax, grip sleeve) - 31.2 oz loaded with 14 rds
2. Kahr P9 Stainless (Factory NS, grip sleeve) - 22.4 oz loaded with 8 rounds

depending on dress and mood. For OWB carry I use Galco JAK Slides (Glock 1.7 oz, Kahr 1.5 oz). Pics attached.

I shoot the Glock better and faster, but the Kahr is comfy on the hip all day and fits my big pockets when needed. The Kahr earned its coveted position by replacing a Glock 26.

My wife actually carries:

1. Kahr PM9 Stainless (with NS, grip sleeve) - 19.9 oz loaded with 7 rds

Loves it.

Right now when I carry it is a K9. I may opt to carry something else at another time but so long as I can git the K9 relatively comfortably in a pocket I am fine. Since I happen to be in a state that allows open carry I may opt for something larger like a Ruger GP100 6 inch in a sholder holster or a Ruger Old Army in the ole flap holster or some western setup.

I'd love to have an MK9 or the PM9 but don't yet. The wife is carrying a CW9 in her purse until she can get more comfortable with the slide on the K9 and I may opt to carry the CW then.

Started with the Walther PPS 40 but now every day every where MK 9 owb until it becomes shorts weather again then it is PM9 in the pocket or MK9 on the belt with the shirt out. Love the Kahrs. It use to be a Walther PPK but with a inside belt holster, it dug into my side. Great gun but too many appendages. Now it's the PM9 and I wear it 24/7. I forget it's there. And I feel more comfortable knowing it has more stopping power and the ammo cost a lot less..BUT, I would love to try the PM45.

I don't want to step on any toes but I would encourage you to re-think this type of mentality. It is your responsibility to make sure that you account for your guns in any situation. I personally would hate to know that one of my guns was stolen and in somebody else s' hands doing God knows what.

If you insist on leaving one in your truck at all times then a hidden lockbox secured to the vehicle is going to be your best bet.

That being said...

I drive three different Kahrs depending on what I'm going to be doing. My P9, MK9 and P45.

Well it has gotten cold....actually downright freezing here in Missouri. Have not seen wind chills well below zero in years. So I am back to my steel Commander length 1911 alternating with my K9. Heavier clothes give me more options. The Commander is a C-Bob in 10mm. I know, not a Kahr but a good 1911 is a good 1911.

A polymer grip should be safer in frigid weather.:) It's 31.6° already here in Jacksonville, and my area is usually 4 to 5 degrees warmer because of the warming effect of the St Johns River about 150 or so yards to the north of us. It's usually coldest around daybreak here, so it's going to be COLD in the morning!!

I would like an all around carry but prefer to have options for different environments as shared below.

But I am of the opinion that if I tell myself....I better have a gun if I am going x then I try to avoid going in the first place. Because why set yourself up to go into a high risk area / situation to start with.

1) CCW > CW9 or Colt 380
2) Glove Box > Glock 22
3) Home > Glock 23
4) Running > NAA 22
5) Pocket / Cycling> Keltec 32

6) Work > No Firearms........

Anyone else banned from carrying at work?????

Just Bob

Same here can't carry inside the building. In the car is OK but not in the building. How do you like the NAA 22 and how do you carry it for running? My wife runs and has been thinking about a CCW for her outings. The 22 mags look pretty good for a small carry pistol. What do you do for a holster? Its required in my state, maybe a clip type? She has a water bottle holder that has zippered pouches on the sides so she has a place to store but always looking for a better idea. She normally carries a S&W model 60 SS 38 but its to big to run with. Just looking for new ideas.

I bounce between a Para P-14 and a XD 45 Compact, both in Sparks VM-2s with a NAA 380 in the offside front pocket. I recently purchased a PM45 to use as a BUG. I'm still working my way thru it's proving rounds. I am sorta/kinda thinking of going back to a single stack 1911 as a primary as I have tried the 1911 magazines in the PM and they seem to function. I don't normally carry a spare mag for the BUG anyway, but this would be an added benefit.

For about 14 years I carried a Beretta 84, a gun that was utterly reliable and I could shoot it very well.

About four years ago I retired my Beretta and began carrying a HK P2000SK, a gun I've come to like very much. It exudes competence and quality.

When a little gun will do I also have carried a tiny Seecamp LWS32. It has proven to be a very reliable "little buddy".

I'm currently testing out my new Kahr TP9 for occational shoulder holster use.

My Para 745 Limited(friends sometimes refer to it as Paranoid) goes with me everywhere some way some how. (I may switch to a Dan Wesson Cbob like Mx5 since she tortured me with that picture of hers.) Normally in a Mernickle OWB PS6 strong side. I have the light colored Woolrich vest which hides this cannon just fine, and even better after I bobtailed it. If it gets hot, semi rare in Washington but it did get hot this last summer I just sweat with comfort and piece of mind. I used to use a fanny pack all the time but was just to girly man for me. If I'm scared which I usually am and have been totally petrified ever since the inauguration I carry my K40 in an ankle setup which surprisingly also holds my officers model size Para 45 and carries nearly the same so I sometimes alternate those just for wardrobe variety. If I can get myself to accept 9mm and I get a PM9 I'm thinking a bellyband rig would be the ticket. I could stand to lose a little spare tire anyhow, (want to look good for my upcoming nuptials with Zena and Mx5) maybe an elastic band around the waist would help. If it doesn't it's still a good place for several extra mags. Wow diahrea of the keyboard again, I'll seek councilling.

The Kahr is a great gun and tucked in the jndtactical holster I can comfortably carry it for 18 hours. The CZ as my second choice is a great gun! a wonderful shooter and very nice looking with her wooden handles.

My Sig P238 most of the time. I've been trying the CW9 lately and have to wait on an IWB holster before I really decide.

I spend about 9 or 10 months of the year in cargo shorts and a t-shirt (work from home). The P238 fits perfectly in almost all the pockets I've tried so it sees the most use by far (front pocket carry).

When I bought the CW9 recently I was thinking about selling the P238 and just going for a PM9 but after holding both (P238 and PM9) side-by-side, actually measuring lengths and thicknesses with calipers, and pocketing both. The P238 was enough smaller in length and thickness to convince me to keep it and go for the CW9 for IWB or OWB. It was close though and I still might pickup a PM9 as my next purchase. :)

Here's the main reason I stuck with the P238. I know this is a photo of a P238 versus CW9 but the PM9 has the same slide *width* as the CW9. It's just machined nicer.

I have recently switched to the CW-9 from an M&P9c. I found that the M&P is a great gun, but carried a little heavy for me. It also seemed a little thick in the slide. (M&P was designed around .40 for LEO use, and the 9 mm version retained the same width).

The Kahr was a little too thin in the grip until I added a Handall Jr. It now point shoots naturally. It took a couple of range trips to settle in with the trigger, but now I love it.

I will also occasionally carry a Sig SP 2022 when out in the woods or the boonies. Some of my jobsites are way out, out of cell range, so I feel a little better with the capacity.

I am going to try my new TRUSS holster tomorrow at church with the CW-9, so I'll give a report.

Oh, I also pocket carry the obligatory j-frame around the house.

I carry my PM9 about 90% of the time. Is just so easy to conceal that is really no effort at all. What makes it easy for me is the fact that I have 3 different holsters, that allows me to customize my carrying options according to the situation and/or wardrobe.
The rest of the time I carry my Springfield XDm 9mm witch I also love but let's face it, is harder to conceal and carry.

MY carry piece pretty much depends on what I'm in the mood to carry. Since I don't wear shorts, and dress about the same all the time (even though it gets HOT here) I carry what I feel like carrying that day. Usually I set it out the night before, and tend to favor full size pistols (1911, GP100 w/4"bbl, Taurus 24/7 in 40, Ruger P345) I try to rotate every couple to few days and yes my P45 is definitely in the rotation as well. I will be acquiring more soon and will work them into the rotation as well.

LCP most all the time. Just picked up the CW9 w/ IWB holster. After enough practice I'm gonna try to work out the CW9 but I'm gonna have the find the best way. I like the pocket carry of the LCP and I don't think that will work out for the CW9.

call me paranoid, but i stay loaded and holstered around the house. 80% of the time i have my hk p2000 in an MTAC, but i dont have my andrews macdaniel ii IWB for my pm9 yet and didnt like pocket carry so much as i thought i would.

i shoot the pm9 well enough at self defense ranges that once i get a comfy holster for it, i think it'll be closer to 50/50.

I don't know how I missed this thread since it has been around for a while, I will just chalk it up to having a senior moment as so well stated by Dietrich. My daily carry 80% of the time is a PM9 with a CT in a crossbreed mini-tuck, the or 20% is divided between my K40 in a mini-tuck and my old trusty S&W 39-2 in a super-tuck depending on what I will be doing and the weather.

NO! The " just a minute" means Im getting my other gun too or switching out. ALWAYS carry the 357 in the house. It is the house gun. I like carrying the CW because I have 15 rounds on me and I need a better holster for the SP 101 but they are hard to find for the 3 1/16th barrel IWB. I carry it in a Fobus paddle holster OWB in the house. Does that clear things up??:D:D I shoot both well enough to hit a 3" circle 5 out of 7 times at 30 ft. but would like to do better. I am a perfectionist.

jocko,

The S&W 39-2 was my first 9mm and my first semi-auto pistol bought it new at Montgomery-Wards over 30 years ago. I have shot many thousands of rounds thought the ol'war horse and it still runs great on anything you put it it. I don't remember ever having even a single failure with the gun. It still is in very good shape some holster wear but only minor issues. I am thinking of having a local gunsmith (http://www.customizedcreationz.com/home.html) cerkote it to give it a little update in looks, He does a excellent job with the cerakote finishes. I don't ever intend on selling it and a couple of my son's that grew up shooting it and have made it perfectly clear if I were to ever let go of it they have first shots at it.

i dont live in the ghetto or anything, but a lower middle class neighborhood. i had my door kicked in while i was at work back in october and all of my weapons stolen, a few days later as i was coming over to pack up a load (i started moving out the night i found the door kicked in, as there was still 20k+ worth of electronics sitting around that he didnt take) i caught the bastard prying and kicking at my back door, and put him face down in the dirt at gunpoint while i called the police.

they charged him with vandalism for tearing up my door and turned him loose 4 hours later with no attempt to search his house for my weapons, and they didnt even inform the burglary detectives handling the prior week case. they called me a few days later and asked if i had any leads on who broke into my house, i was like "how about the guy i caught breaking in 2 days ago? good suspect in my amatuer opinion."

since then, i never get caught unarmed except at work, where i have to disarm.

I've heard from several LEO friends that after a successful home burglary, perps often go back to the same house after a few days. In addition I've known two folks (including my boss) who had exactly that happen to them.

Doesn't make sense to me - I'd think the victim would be more on guard. If I were a BG I'd move on to another unsuspecting victim. Maybe they're thinking because they were successful once, they can be successful again. Dunno - I can't think like a BG so I guess I wouldn't be a very successful one.

My main carry is a S&W M642 Pro. It has a power port, XS bigdot tritium front sight, Rosewood lamanent grips off my wife's 642 lady smith (she has a set of Crimson Trace Lasers on hers), and a laserlite pulsating laser on the right side of the frame. It is light at 17oz loaded with magsafe defenders. It is no sissy as it barks with authority, hits damn hard and is super easy to carry in my left front pocket inside a Desantes Superfly.

I have both a Kahr T9 and a Kahr MK40 with Novak night sights and wood grips at Robar for the Rogard black finish with the NP3 on internals. I've had some fine checkering done on the front strap and front of the trigger guard on both pistols. I also beveled the magwell and smoothed out some machine marks on the inside of the frames and polished the feed ramps before sending them to Robar. I have a stainless steel guide rod with high power 24lb spring coming for the MK40 due to some stiff loads I shoot out of it. I would do the same for the spring in the T9 but I can't find a heavier spring than the 20lb stock one. I shoot Corbon 155 +Ps and 180gr hard ball out of the MK40. The T9 gets Buffalo Bore 147gr +p+ for the carry load.

The MK40 had some good thump to it and I found my hand a little sore after the first session of 200+rds. I sent it out to Mag-na-port before I sent it on to Robar.

The T9 gave me some real issues with the rear Novak sight not tightening up and falling off during firing and the chamber being out of round. After some hard work I was able to get Kahr to step up and fix them. But as far as shootability the T9 was a sweethart even with the very hot loads. I can shoot the stiffest loads all day with no problems as long as I have my Peltors on. The T9 carries as well as the MK40 since it is a touch flatter. Flatter is more important in concealment than length of barrel. If you wonder about that find a Colt 1862 Pocket Police (replica or real) that comes with a 5” barrel and put it in your front pocket. You’ll be amazed at how well it conceals!

I'll send pics once I get them back.

Burglars that do it for a living will come back to the same house they got a good load from the first time about two to three weeks after the first burglary. Why? Because that gives you time to get your insurance money and replace your stolen stuff. They'll probably even get lucky and be able to take the boxes they came in. If so they'll try and return it to the store for cash. Places like KMart will still hand the money over even with someone standing right there telling them the stuff is stolen. That has actually happened right in front of me.

How's that .357 LCR been for you? That's on my short list for my next purchase and I would like to get feedback from someone with personal experience. Thanks!

I don't want to hijack the thread, but can tell you it is great, but brutal in recoil with Remington and Speer 125 grain magnum JHPs. The 1st 5 rounds in a session are tolerable, the 2nd 5 hurt somewhat, and I slip on a glove (without shame) for any remaining rounds to be fired that session.

It might be the hardest kicking handgun/ammo combination I've ever fired, due to its light weight. The same ammo in the all steel SP101 has healthy recoil, but not like the .357 LCR. I thought the PM40 with 155 grain JHPs was fierce, but this tops it a little.

I'm really not complaining, that's why I bought it. It glides out of the pocket nicely, and I'm getting 1245 fps-432 ft/lbs ME with the Remington 125 grain SJHP.

This compares with 910 fps-231 ft/lbs ME with the same bullet in the .38 +P LCR, which I also own, so the .357 comes close to doubling the energy output.

Despite the hefty recoil, I can unload all five in the .357 version as rapidly as I can the .38 version. The .38 version is just easier on the hand at the range. The difference will probably never be noticed if used in its intended purpose, with adrenalin pumping and all.

Ruger did a great job in designing the trigger on the LCR, it is really nice for a double-action only. I highly recommend it.

To get back on topic, I've taken to alternating days with front pocket carry using the .357 LCR, and the PM40. They are both true pocket pistols, and both generate over 400 ft/lbs of muzzle energy with the ammo I carry in them.

I carry two spare magazines for the PM40, two (or sometimes four) speed strips for the LCR.

Thanks HadEmAll, I appreciate the reply about the .357 LCR. I'm definitely interested in it and am looking forward to getting some time with one to confirm my desire. And more importantly test it out in my wife's hands (probably with 38s though as not sure she'd tolerate the .357 well).

Back on topic, PM9 all the time for me...and a spare mag or two depending on where I'm headed and going through.

If the Glock 26 would fill the bill for all weather conditions and wardrobe requirements, it would be the only gun I would carry. Since it doesn't though, I've slimmed down, first to a Kel-Tec P11 and most recently to the PM9.

I try to keep the manual of arms of the pistols I carry as close to the same as possible. That way, in a pinch, I don't have to think about going from DA to SA, safeties, etc.

Up until now, I've carried 1911's in various sizes up to 5". Like Commander's a lot, but the Officer's got its use. My Springfield "Compact 45" is a 4", which is a unique length, using a standard size bushing, but having the Officer's size frame. That was my mainstay, except for the occasional carry of my SP101.

Just got a PM45.... I dont think I'll go back to anything else soon. Don't get me wrong! I still like all of my 1911's, but..... this PM45 is the cats rosette. I've had it a week and already converted two Glock shooters. Goin' up to Virginia... got a few more converts to make up there. Can't say enough nice about this little Kahr.

I have a custom Robar Rogaurd finished Mag-na-ported MK40 with wood grips and Novak night sites that I also carry in either a fanny pack or another Desantes superfly pocket holster. I've been carrying the MK40 the most lately but there is nothing wrong with the S&W 642 Pro loaded with 38 spc Magsafes. I have carried the 642 Pro for a couple of years since they came out. That Seacamp is a pretty little gun, but I have a question: is the trigger pull - like - 11-12 lbs as I have heard?

A typical measured pull weight I've seen reported is about 10 lbs on the DAO Seecamp. After 24 years it is well broken in, feels lighter than 10lbs and is buttery smooth. The pull is fairly long, measured at about 3/4".

On paper the Seecamp looks difficult and almost too tiny to shoot well, but in person the package is very well suited to it's purpose and everything works together in a finely made, silky smooth, competent manner. One has to get used to a "finger and a half" grip and learn to love a sightless gun, but once you get over these features, the gun shines and grows on you. At least it did for me.

Thanks. I've always admired those guns. I guess I'll have to wait until I can handle one in a LGS or at a show, and see how my partially paralyzed hand can do with that trigger.

Could a competently done trigger job lighten it up some?

I wasin my local Gander mountain store today for thefirst time in ages. Now I remember why I don't go in there. they had a cm9 in there for $559 and a PM9 stainless finish for $799 and right beside each gun was a jar of KY jelley..

unbelievalbe place and they lock bank robbers up every day for what Gander does legally.

Well, I normally have my trusty old (and it IS old) ********** holstered up and available for use almost everywhere I got. Ammo costs are pretty low, and I use it every day. Good guys and bad guys alike are texting, emailing and calling me all the time on it.

I've been thinking of taking one of my Kahrs, 1911's or my SAA with me every so often, but I never was a LEO so I am not used to carrying a lot of equipment on my belt when I'm out and about.

I love my guns - all of them - but they're my friends at home cuz I can only carry so much equipment on my body at any given time, and when I reach my weight limit I don't have any capacity to bring any of my little friends with me. (I admit I'm a bit of a weakling.)

I like the HK P7M8.
Ditto, my EDC is a P7 PSP, hardchromed. I'm using a Theiss Holster which is very stable, due to the wide spacing of the belt clips. I still carry my Sig P238 about 30% of the time out of convenience, i.e., quick trips and when I know I must leave the gun in the car safe (bar/restaurants). I stopped carrying my PM9 because I don't shoot DA nearly as well.

My EDC is a Glock 19. If I need to carry something smaller framed for better concealment with what Im wearing I will carry a K40 if I need to go even smaller I will carry my S&W Body guard 380. I used to carry my K40 as EDC but I shoot the glock the best out of all my weapons so that is why its my EDC now.

Of my thirteen pistols I carry all but three on occasion. The three I don't are a FS SA 1911, a SIG P220, and a HK 40, all fairly large guns. That leave me seven for belt carry, but my CW40 is near the top of that list because it's the lightest of the bunch. In hot weather or when I can't cover a belt holster, I drop my PM9 or LCP in a pocket.

I carry M&P 9c, with Apex Goodies, and ameriglo Proglo front sight only.

I just picked up a CM9, and after break in, i am sure it will split time with the M&P. I just installed the qwickgrip #3, and it feels even better, fits perfect, i am ordering the Trijicon front sight from Kahr soon as well.

I keep a SP2022 9mm next to my bed, and have a P229 .40 downstairs i can reach in about 5 seconds.

Most of the time I carry a well-worn, smooth, and reliable CW9 in a UBG Striker IWB holster. I have bigger and I have smaller pistols from which to choose, but the CW9 is a great option for me; it's not meant to be pretty; but it is pretty darn good as a CCW piece.

my EDC since I got my plastic in '04 has been a PM9 ... I'm retired, carry it mostly in a pocket holster, strong side, with a reload in my weakside pocket ... the gun has been stone reliable since I took it out of the box ... when it's cool enough to wear a jacket or overshirt, I belt carry it in a Fobus paddle holster .. occasionally carry a Kimber UCII, and pocket carry an NAA Pug when I'm at home ... PM9 is a great weapon, I love it ...

Depending on my location and situation I will change up. If I know I will be in a bad city, or during busy holidays/events like Mardis Gras or Spring break I will carry my G27 or G30.....normal life in my city I stick with something smaller

If this pistol continues to perform the way it did yesterday it will be my go to carry year round, 6 rounds of .40 S&W 155s to 180s and another 5-6 back up after all those years with my 640 centenial sure seems weird to think of leaving it in the safe. Awww, jeez....you just had to bring up the 340 right when I'm trying hard not to buy one. My current edc is a PM9 but I'm a decades long fan of J-frames, especially the lightweights. Very convenient to carry with a Clip Draw (no flaming on that subject, please) when in minimalist mode. I very recently become enamored with the idea adding an M&P340 to the collection, mostly because it addresses the real shortcoming of crappy "under stress" sights. It would also give me a welcome opportunity to renew my J-frame action tuning skills.

The two things stopping me at the moment are that Davidson's doesn't currently have the no internal lock version in stock and I'm less than three months shy of getting through the second, renewal, year of my "no more guns" thread pledge....not sure I could stand the aftermath /ridicule if I caved.

New here, first post. Last year my wife and I purchased our own matching PM9's. She recently has acquired a T9 as well. I figure that qualifies us for KahrTalk membership :) I carry a PM9 daily. She tries to carry her PM9 or T9 but since she has gone back to college, it mostly remains a car gun (in SC any school/university whether public or private is a no carry zone). I've thought about carrying the PM9 during the summer/hot weather and a double stack Glock or XDM during the winter... but here at the beach, we don't get much winter :) Though it does get chilly for a few months of the year, I've been in shorts and a t-shirt at Christmas before. The PM9 is just so versatile and comfortable to carry so I carry it everywhere.

IMO that is probably the mai reason people buy a kahr is its size. Sure it is quality, it is also expensive to but it's size and weight prevails. or I think the xd or glock would prevail. I know that is why I bought my PM9 and now I would have no other..

I probably have too many active pistols, sixteen to be exact. I seldom carry the FS SA 1911, P220, or HK USP 40, because of their size, so they are relegated to the range or home defense. Of the remaining, two or three are pocket guns for hot weather, so I'm down to ten for belt carry. Of those the CW45 most often finds it's way to my holster. It's four or five ozs lighter and thinner than any of the other 45's.

I know there is no one perfect gun (contrary to what Gaston Glock would like everyone to believe), but it was a bit surprising that Kahr was mentioned so often on a "foreign" board, given that there are a number of other brands that are cheaper/more famous/better known/have more disciples/etc.

I think it has something to do with intelligence and maturity as a gun owner. Both of these brands are beyond the appreciation of most KTers who stop looking once they have found the cheapest CC gun in the store, and the Glock Sheep who go for the most popular and well known brand because that's what the herd does. Most often I carry my pm9 in a pj holster. But when it's shorts and tank top weather I carry it in a stealth holster.
20% of the time I carry my Sig 239 in a blade tech holster.
When I carry a BUG it's usually my ruger lcr 357. When it's cold I carry it in my coat pocket. I like the fact that I can get my hand on the gun without flashing and the fact that I can shoot through the coat if I have to. When I'am not wearing a coat and I still want the 357 as a back up I carry it in a Flash Bang holster. The Flash Bang bra holster is a lot more comfortable than a person would guess. I also carry the 357 when hiking, just in case the bg has fur, claws, and big teeth.

But mostly I just carry my situational awareness, which has served me very well for many decades, needs no permit, has no liability issues, and is with me every minute I am awake.

Until some health problems recently, I have concealed a Beretta 92 for over 2.5 years straight now. My fav gun!

I like this one the best, lightweight, easy to conceal even when OWB with just a tee shirt.

It depends on what I'm wearing, which dictates where I carry. For in-pocket carry, in jeans, I usually bring a KTP3AT. For in-pocket carry in looser pants, it's usually my CM9. For IWB, it's my CM9.

Ruger LCP front right pocket always when leaving home. More & more been carrying the G26 also, in various manners, i.e. IWB, OWB, or Briefcase when working. Some day, I want a CM9 to replace the LCP. I say, Some Day!

Was a PM9, Picked up a CW40 and that ones carried more. Little bigger than the PM but still easy to conceal, bigger round and feels better in the hand.

I just trade my lcp evenup for a excellentbluntnoxe PM9, 2 mags, polymer box.

IMO the lcp is a darn nice pocket rocket, no fun to shoot for range use but the gun can take what ever u put through it. they basicaly copied the kel tek P3AT but they made a far better working gun IMO.

I just don[t carry my 380.

I carry my Glock 19 everyday all day in a M-Tac holster. I sometimes carry a P3AT ankle or pocket as well.
500 more rounds and I will be carrying my new CM9 every day all day either as a back up or as a primary.

My good man if ur comfortable carrying a G19 with 15 rounds, it would be a cold day in hell before I would drop down to 7 rounds; Just sayin.

That's Glock sweetness.
My sub-compact baby Glock G27/357 uses a G33 9 round flush mag.
But I carry twin G31 15 round re-loads.

Let the games begin

I have to say as well that when I get down to 5 or 6 rounds in a gun
I start to get the heebie Jeebies - LOL! Even with extra mags.

Plus we are talking revolver territory at that point.
I know it sounds strange - but I really prefer double J-Frames at that point.
My S&W 640/357 on a belt and my S&W 342 ti in my pocket as a NY reload.
Plus a couple of speed strips in my pocket and a Galco 2x2x2 pouch on my belt LOL!

I never pretended to be normal

I was reading Mas on GLockTalk self defense forum posting the same thing.
Double J-Frames with the second being a NY reload - LOL!

I don't want less but a change in job situation requires it. Otherwise I would stick with 15+1.

im a cop so i carry the dept. issued gun all the time....though i could carry something else off duty id rather their gun sit in an evidence locker than mine if God forbid i had to use it.

if and when i make it to retirement i have several i would rotate in and out from G20 or G29, or G17 or G26, PM9, or S&W 3953 or S&W 2" model 64 duo.....

I'm a Glocktard so its a G26 with the Glock +2 in an Glock OWB Sport/Combat holster. I carry a G17 mag with a +2 in an Pass Port nylon flap mag carrier weak side.

I carry my DB PM9 on an ankle holster and the 7 round in the same type of mag pouch when I have to be absolutely concealed.

Both are stoked with 124 +p Gold Dots.

Ruger SR9c, until my PM9 fully breaks in and proves reliable! SR9c is just a little bulky for warm weather carry, great pistol though.

99.9% of the time it's the PM9 AIWB. I have recently picked up a few other Kahrs that will go into rotation. Our state just passed open carry. I plan on still carrying the PM9 concealed however I will feel less paranoid about printing while riding my MC with my K9 (coming soon) or P9 riding on my hip OWB.
