I refuse to answer that question on the grounds I may or may not incriminate myself.

Like going into a potential, very vulnerable place.
I strictly follow the terms of my concealed weapon licence.
Now a ridiculous store policy?
Years ago, at first, I did.
Wanted to be the good guy.
Just take my business elsewhere.
For the last few years I've just started ignoring that stuff.
Have you carried even Though a posting of NO FIREARMS anyhow?
Even in NYC and New Jersey

I would probably not if it is state law. common sense in my case would prevail. So i STAY away from NYC or NJ. Illinois is no better but I do carry when riding through that state on my Harley. I was in Michigan this past weekend at a big bike rally, fun weekend and I carried all the way up and at the event. My motel a sleeze bag motel that I had booked 4 moths earlier as I was going by myself, had two people shot the night before I got there. 4 cop cars was parked outside when I registered in, not knowing WTF had happened Once the motel totally filled up with bikers for this event I actuallay felt alot safer. To save a few bucks, I really put myself in a bad area and did not know it when registring online, but oh my what a dump it was, and to top it off the motel staff was all Idian's heritage and they were also pimping to, as I no sooner got registered in and a knock on my door an some black gal as if I needed company. I told her no as my wife was coming with a pizza the dumb b!tch said , "well they told me u checked in as a single occupant" Is there a lesson to be learned here or what???? Just sayin.

Where I live all they can do is ask you to leave the premises. Unless it is School, Fed. buildings, etc.

I completely understand that statement. You know the crowd you are dealing with. No guessing. A crowd of bikers are generally into their own business what ever it is. And some lone little single punk is usually not going to come around starting trouble.

What I will do in these situations has crossed my mind many many times already (Cant legally carry yet) cause i believe here in SC its not just a simple ask you to leave policy, its a felony IF you're caught. My concern then is not getting caught, but what kind of trouble would you be in if you ended up in a shtf situation and used the weapon you werent supposed to have.
just cause its a current example: say you were the one in that theater that ignored the signs and carried your weapon into the movie... would you now be in trouble (possibly more than the BG) for breaking the law, or would you be the vigalante hero?

wow a felony. I am not doubting ur comment but that just not seem right IMO. I am pretty sure here in Indiana if u are asked to leave the premises such as a restaurtant etc, and do not then possably u could be charged with criminal trespass but I would not think it would entice a felonty charge. At best a misdeameanor and in that case I blame the person for not leaving as directed. U might have a right to carry but in my business,if I say no, then ur gonna leave or u will get arrested. Do that in a post office or school zone and I would bet u would face possable felony charges. I say possable for there could be circumstances where it could easily be reduced by the local prosecutor at his calling to..:banplease:
best carry concealed... Just sayin

I have found myself in a location that didnt clearly have the "no concealed firearms" sign displayed in all entrances and exits. It was a mall, there was no sign on the entrace we came in but we left via a different entrance and my wife noticed they had a "no concealed firearms". FWIW I proabably would have anyway because at this particular mall several people have been robbed/assaulted at gunpoint in the parking lot (I guess they didnt read the sign)
jocko

our big mall has it posted on the wall of every entry way but it is posted in with about 24 other mall requirements, etc, like no lottering, etc. so I have no doubt what so ever NO ONE read that crap either, andwhetherit would hold water in any legal systme theway it is poste din such small ass p;rint would be debateable. I think at best u would be told to leave and that would be it, and again if u carry concealed they will never ask either..

I *DID* recently, in a state where all they can ask you to do is leave. It was a store that is filled with annoying, earnest left-wing types but that has stuff I like to buy (books).
I don't carry much, but I went in with a grin (and a bulge in my pocket) - and came out with one too! :)

hell a grin and bulge in ones pocket doesn't tell me u have a weapon????? Just maybe ur happy to see someone special in that store. Just sayin
No I haven't, but I did go into a hotel bar with my wife and order a beer and didn't even think about having my PM9 on my hip under a baggy shirt. I drank up quickly and told my wife I'd meet her in the room.
I still can't believe that I didn't even think about the fact that I was carrying.
PS: I never get drunk. I never drink more than one beer or one drink.

I carry everywhere except federal buildings & bars that have legal signs that have to meet state requirements. All other signs have no lawful meaning, except they can ask you to leave & you must or you will be charged with trespass. I do not go in liquor establishments that are posted. I will point to the sign & leave. Several places have removed their signs.

I've already answered this. All they can do in my state and ask you to leave. If you don't and they call the cops and they have to ask you to leave, then it's a misdeanor. So if your weapon is well concealed, then do as you wish.

I suppose we should watch what we say, I've never gave it much thought before, and didn't really care if I got on some governement list, but since were all potential domestic terrorists now, maybe we should be more concerned. I imagine we all meet the requirements, some of which are:
. Expressions of libertarian philosophies (statements, bumper stickers)
Second Amendment-oriented views (NRA (http://www.survivalblog.com/glossary.html#NRA) or gun club membership, holding a CCW (http://www.survivalblog.com/glossary.html#CCW) permit)
Survivalist literature (fictional books such as "Patriots" (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/156975599X?ie=UTF8&tag=survivalcom-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=156975599X) and "One Second After" (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0765317583?ie=UTF8&tag=survivalcom-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=0765317583) are mentioned by name)
Self-sufficiency (stockpiling food, ammo, hand tools, medical supplies)
Fear of economic collapse (buying gold and barter items)
Religious views concerning the book of Revelation (apocalypse, anti-Christ)
Expressed fears of Big Brother or big government
Homeschooling
Declarations of Constitutional rights and civil liberties
Belief in a New World Order conspiracy
I've been reading some pretty weird stuff lately, and I hope it's not true, but I'm sure some of it is, such as Facebook and the likes making the jobs of govt. agencies much easier, by people posting all their info onto one convenient site that agencies can check out to find out most of the things they want to know about a person. I've figured for a long time that all the stuff that gets posted on any gun board is copied and stored away for reference about people or groups. I didn't used to care very much, but things are getting crazier and crazier, and I probably shouldn't have posted a lot of the stuff I have. Oh well, maybe we can all get to meet face to face in a FEMA camp near you. I probably just got another asterisk added besides my name for this one.

Yes but I wouldn't present CCL's if discovered. I would just be an unlicensed citizen. The criminals don't care about these archaic laws and they put their money where there mouth is, No? They're on Offense. I play Defense.

You have to use some caution on posts online. ALL of this stuff is a record and believe me, if you go to court, any, or all of it could be brought up in a trial. EVERYTHING you post can be used against you!
You're on many lists for being on this forum. Certainly the DHS thinks this is just another characteristic of domestic terrorists.

Isn't it sad that an in depth witch hunt looking for any scrap of
irrelevant information is often the focus of these things.
Like BARTH said
"I strictly follow the terms of my concealed weapon licence"
BUT I respect Chuck e Cheese No gun policy, I wont like my gun to fall or get people scare because they saw my gun somehow, with all those kids in there NO THANKS.

Just goes to show that there are several things in life that can make me happy.
But just to clarify, in this case my source of happiness was being surrounded by liberals who didn't know about the little Kahr in my pocket but who would certainly have had a heart attack if they only had known. :D
All the time, wont mention circumstances
