Mag problems

iproblems I have a cw9, when ever you release the mag it only comes out of the gun about 1/4 of a inch. And it appears to be hard to pull out has anyone else experience this as a problem.

Kahr considers that a feature, not a problem. Some people like the fact that some Kahr pistols do not "drop free", Jocko comes to mind, some don't.

Often the plastic inside the grip will wear down with enough insertions. Polishing the outside of the magazine tube itself often leads to smoother extraction.

Although Kahr does NOT recommend it, a few people lightly sanded the inside of the grip where it contacts the magazine and seem happy.

Some have posted here that they gently squeeze their mags (you might find that in a search).

All 4 of my mags dropped free without any modification, so I suppose there are tolerances stacking up that can cause this "feature" for some people... ie. narrow mag well, combined with fat mag tubes.

Thanks for all the input I have found that, the top part of the mag well rubs on the mag and causes it to hang up. A lite sanding should resolve the problem.
